I joined this site a few days back... It seemed like a good idea, since my wife and I have been playing with chastity for several years now. I've commented on a number of posts, using the experiences we've had in hopes of making a contribution. Along the way, I've used a couple of words that apparently offended some of delicate bearing. These words were not indicative of any sort of intolerance, bias or hatred, but were merely common descriptives, one of solo sexual activity, and one of a male body part, both rather mild by my own experience. Given that this site is 100% dedicated to a bunch of different non-mainstream sexual activitites: locking up one's genitals, experiencing seeing one's spouse being fucked by (oopsie, 'scuse me... having sexual congress with) another man, being urinated on, men dressing in frilly undies and bending over to be buggered, I was totally taken back when I was asked (via chat) to clean up my act, and not use such dirty words. "Hypocrisy" is the first word that springs to mind, followed closely by "plain f~cking weird". It's not like we're going to invite our children or our Grandmas to sit down at the computer and have a peek in here with us. Can I get some feedback from the crowd here? Thanks, Harry
Although the people on here are into chastity it doesn't follow that swearing is the norm. Having rwad your reply in an earlier thread I can see the words used are, shall we say, more common practice where you come from. It is a matter of pleasing everyone and recognising that we all come from different parts of the world and as such occasionally have different moral values
Thanks for your input, Charles. I agree that swearing is not necessarily tied to chastity, but on the other hand, I would say that the prudishness I've seen here is out of place when chastity and the other kinks discussed here are involved. As far as moral values are concerned, I can't really believe that a chastised, cross-dressing golden showers lover from say, Finland, has moral values that are very far removed from those of a locked up cuckold in Britain, or Peru... There is a clearly defined commonality of thought here that transcends physical and cultural boundaries.
Actually, Harry, I think hypocrisy pretty much sums it up. If a forum moderator takes offense to something you or me, as an example, writes then I suppose that comes with the territory. They are the gatekeepers. If a "member" does, then really, who give an F?
