A shared new years resolution for us is overall longer lockup periods. Been in an open bird cage style cage for a couple months now. It's super comfortable and lightweight but not really restrictive like a closed tube. Recently received a closed tube device I've been in a day or so. Still adjusting but like it so far. For people who do longer lockups say a month or so was just curious what type cage seems to make it easier from personal experience.
I prefer the birdcage style because hygiene is so easy: my 24x7 lockup is literal, the cage doesn't come off except when mistress wants PIV. Since she lasso enjoys her Vixskin, I typically go 1-3 months without being released.
I'm out maybe 2 days a month so the birdcage style is great for cleaning. Been thinking something a bit more restrictive might make longer lockups easier as I'd have less access. Kinda out of sight out of mind type thing.
Birdcage style for sure here. Keeping it kinda snug and close bar spacing makes it harder (not impossible) to "shake one out".
Right, the disadvantage of birdcage style is the easier access of a finger tip to the frenulum. I partially addressed this by having MCN install a custom crossbar on that side of the cage, but the cage easily rotates so not perfect … have to rely on self-discipline (of course that’s true for all cages since nearly all allow for pull out of the rear)
Open titanium device. Anything enclosed will get funky no matter how much you try to keep clean, and no partner will like that.
Open birdcage style. I’m in an MM Jailbird and I can wear it indefinitely with no hygiene issues. It’s super easy to keep clean. Yes, I theoretically can cum with it on but it takes much longer to do and usually makes me fairly sore. Even with closed tube you can grab a vibe if you want to cheat. Have a little self discipline, get an open design cage, and enjoy the freshness of a clean cage.
I currently wear an open cage, well did until last two days before I put this on one. I also have self control, have never cheated on an agreed release date. Both style cages do exist however hence the question.
For me it has to be open metal cage for long term wear it's the only one that is hygienic for me. I've been in my current BAW cage pretty much 24/7 for 2.5 years. I used to remove for cleaning every 2-3 weeks but have wanted to extend that time & see how long I can go without removal, my current unlocked run is now about 10 weeks . In a closed cage I couldn't have done more than a week without removing to clean.
