I took the cage off to give myself and the cage a good cleaning and found a sore on the bottom of my dick we are going to take a break and let me heal and we both agree that it sucks I'm really bummed out and I think she is too are there any tips to keep this from happening again also any suggestions on something that we can do in the meantime to not take any steps backwards
Not sure how many cages you tried, where the sore is, what your gap is, etc . I can say. For me, getting the right base ring size, shape (oval for me) and gap was critical to srop sores down under.
I have a MM jailbird oval ring and I think 1/4 gap the sore is at the bottom on the bottom right where the bottom tube ring sits
The first thing I checked there are a couple bumps but nothing rough I am ordering a new base ring that is round just need to decide on 1/4 inch gap or 3/8
You can adjust the gap without ordering a new ring. All you need is a vice, mallet, and a couple pieces of wood to keep the ring from being marred by the vice
Tried this once, didn´t work. As sson as you put the ring into the vice, you create rough spots every where. If it´s a solid steel ring you must use extreme force or be able to heat the ring in order to bend it. My solution was that I first get a precise messurement, the tried differend metallrings from the diy-building shops, in order to see if I can get my b**ls through, then ordering a anatomicly bend ring. Hope I could help
Does sound like gap is too tight. Bumps not helping. Not sure round vs oval applies. Is the tightness of base ring equal all around? If so it is a good fit, if not then... I've bent several in the vice. Wood, plastic or leather in the vice help prevent damage. Wood blocks where you hit - or if I can I fit a large adjustable wrench snuggly (a bit of tape on the ring) and slowly bend. Quick work w a Dremel will sand out and polish those bumps and any marks. Quicker and cheaper than new ring at least for now.
@rings343 well i hope you find out what make your willy sore and that you make your cage not do it again and that its nice and comfy for you after.
I have found the daily lubrication helps a lot to eliminate such sores. For me, just about any lotion works well, as does baby oil gel.
Or assemble both pieces and then gently pry the cage up and away just a hair. You may not need much adjustment of the gap to find your happy place. Regardless, as disappointing as the recovery period may be, at least the anticipation will make the next lock down even more exciting. Also, it's a great time to play some verbal/honor system denial games. I've found it very embarrassing (in a fun way) to have to admit to @MrsBR_Saiph that I was naughty when allowed freedom. Be patient, and best of luck with the fitting.
I agree with other posters here, the smallest size change can make all the difference! Even down to a millimetre! Hope you get this sorted soon.
Its only a Failure if you fail to learn anything from it. Keep at it. It does take a bit of searching to find the right cage. Iso.
I'm all healed up but tomorrow is my first laser hair removal appointment so I don't think I'll be locked for the rest of the week does anyone have any experience with laser and cages how long should I wait also I'm thinking about trying again with this cage and ring combo I didn't lube last week so maybe that will help is there any particular lube I should use would it be best to remove the cage for daily cleaning and lubing I think it would definitely be more comfortable with lube up to now I've been dry aside from the initial application of the cage
Oh, fuck, you're in for a treat. Laser hair removal in that area is feels AMAZING. Especially the further back in the groin they get. And by amazing, I am talking about PAIN. I had a few sessions down there to prep for future vaginoplasty. I hope you want the hair gone pretty badly, because it hurts like a mofo. But the pain subsides very quickly.
It depends of the device used! I'm using a device with is quite not painful - Go to a medical practitioner to be sure of the quality of the device
I went to a university hospital dermatology clinic. They use the GentleMax Pro. It is a top notch machine. There are areas that don't hurt, like the top of the public hair area. But when you get into the groin, especially back toward your butthole, there are WAY more nerves and the pain level escalates quickly. I've also had my face and arms done. The arms have comparatively few nerves at skin level. There was practically no pain, I could have done that all day long.
