Whenever I click on a thread, it always takes me to the last post in that thread. If it's a five-page thread I've never looked through, it's annoying to start at the newest post, then clicking back to the beginning. I don't see a setting anywhere that allows me to change this to default at the first (oldest) post instead. Am I missing something here?
I suspect it may be a consequence of marking the forums as read. I think it assumes that you're up to date on all threads, even if you've not been into it before. I may be wrong, and I admit, I've not done much testing on it, bit I have noticed this behaviour. I've got into the habit of scrolling to the top of the page of clicking page 1 on establihsed threads I visit for the first time.
Right... Well that's one theory down then. I'll leave it a day or two, and see if I can decipher any sort of noticeable pattern in the forum behaviour. Possibly, by then, we'll have heard something from someone more in the know anyway.
Hmmm. Not sure why that is. I was hoping for a post on rimming!!!! @Administrator your thoughts on this? (The post, not the rimming!)
Billus, if you're browsing multi page threads, look for the page numbers depicted below the title of the thread. You can click on which ever page you like. if you're using a mobile device to browse then I haven't got a clue. It's probably impossible. Good luck and nice to see you here again.
It all depends on where you are clicking the thread title. Let me explain. If you click on the menu at the top of the page called 'What's New' and then click on a threads title on that list. It will take you to the first post of that thread. If you go into a forum section, and click on a threads title, it will take you to the first post of that thread. If you go on the forums main page, and click on the threads title, it will take you to the newest post of that thread. This is because that column is showing you the newest post made, so it would make sense for it to take you directly to that post. If you visit a thread by the last method mentioned, just to the bottom left, and top left of the page is a list of page numbers so you can easily jump back to the first page if you wish. There is also a hovering up/down arrow on the bottom right of your screen which allows you to jump to the top/bottom of the page in one click/touch
By clicking on the dot next to the title of the post it should take you to the first post that you have not read ...
I'll try some of these methods, but it seems like odd behaviour to me. I've seen other forums that appear to use the same software, and they don't start at the end. I wish this was an option that could be determined by the user. Ms. Amanda, it's always nice to see you. Whenever I see a pair of Louboutins, I think of you.
That's very sweet Billus. I hope you see lots. It's good luck you know. Similar to when a black cat crosses your path ;-) Let us know when your problem is sorted out so that we can derail your thread properly please. Mistress Watchful is right, the title begs for it. xx
Why do you want to derail my thread? Nothing wrong with rimming; it's just like meeting a whole new friend! Or something like that...
I've been unlocked for a year, and it felt odd coming by like that. Since the first of the year, I've been in and out, getting re-acquainted with my Jailbird. You have to work back up to the weight, the rubbing, etc, etc.
it is yes I never have to work back up to it. Since I never wear the key round my neck I don't tend to suffer from "rubbing" or "weight" problems. The only problem I usually have is dealing with all the extra attention that's required during the break in period. Anyway it's really nice to see you back and by the way you still have the best cock cage avatar in the world
Well, it's nice to be back, and always nice to hear from you. My avatar and I thank you for your kind words.
