How it works?

A group of trusted, geographically distributed organizations holds the keys. There are 18 separate organizations running a total of 22 nodes, with a threshold of 12 needed to release a secret. This eliminates any single point of failure and creates an extremely robust system by relying on independent organizations with no reason to collude.​
