I wore my cage week 24/7 for 17 days without any discomfort this afternoon it suddenly became painful and my testicles were really swollen. I took the cage of and it took a couple of hours till it shrunk to normal size.

The ring is not tight I can easily put a finger behind the ring. Is this something that just happens or something to be catrfull with.

It can happen if there is just not enough fluid flowing between the parts.

I recently had oedema on the right side of my foreskin.
The cage is fine but it might not have that wiggle room it wants for fluid flow.
It will take a but of healing until I can try again.

What is your gap? The ring holds the whole cage in place, but comfort of testicles is mostly dictated by a gap. The scrotum and testicles have to comfortably go through the gap. Everyone needs a different gap and it is hard to get this one correct.

Thanks for your advice, the gap is not the problem. I took a rest from the cage for a couple of days and put it back on yesterday. I downsized the basering with 5 mm and this is tighter to my body now. The 50 mm ring slipped down a bit and I think that was the problem.

I found a more mobile base ring can cause testicle pain to.
