Well I finally managed to sleep with my cage on. Woke up a couple of times but think it was the sheer excitement of my first time wearing a cage through the night, the second time was because I needed the loo and yes I remembered to sit down to have a pee. Loved waking up this morning and knowing that my cage had caused no pain or discomfort. Most mornings I wake up with an erection but not this morning so the cage must have been doing it's job. I only have until about 5pm today locked in it as my partner will be home from work
Great work… people don’t always understand the real need for a break in period for cages… that first night can be a bitch!
Well done, that's one major milestone passed. Next is a whole weekend, then a whole week. Take it easy, and don't force it if you have minor hiccups. For example, a small sore or rash is always best allowed to heal properly rather than making it worse and ending up with a bigger problem. The big milestone then to aim for is a full month. That's how long it takes to get the full benefit of the hormonal changes that happen with that long between orgasms. If you don't achieve it before then, make sure "Locktober 2024" is marked in your calendar!
Glad to hear you're progressing... It took me a few months to find the right cage and allow my body to adjust so I can sleep at night and pee while locked up. I couldn't do either in my first 3 months, so regular unlockings were necessary as they were annoying. My body seems to finally be adapting and I'm confident I'll be ready for long term sessions soon.
As a couple of people have said already, don't push yourself to quickly. You'll know when your ready to go for longer lock up sessions, the small niggles in your brain will disappear, and you'll feel comfortable in yourself. Keep doing what your doing, and the main thing is make sure you're hygiene regime is good . Stay safe and good luck.
Interesting comment on the hormones there. I'm coming upto 10 days being new to this .... What changes ??? After a month .. still trying to get my pestering sorted out . With some success
hmm..never thought about hormonal changes but thinking about it cant say you are wrong. I feel less in the brief times I am out of my cage anymore to the point I dont really get stimulated like I do in my cage/locked. As everyone else said...nothing wrong with taking it slow. I remember going 1 / 3 / 7 days...couple weeks...if you are to that point a decision about long term is much easier .
Yes, go slow and steady towards longer sessions and don't try to "throw a Hail Mary". Your body needs to adapt and it requires time. Don't punish yourself for an occasional slip-up, particularly when a health/safety factor is involved. There's a difference between cheating and "Oops! I didn't mean for that to happen."
