What a difference 5mm makes

A few things to try with the 45mm ring:

1. Move the scrotum skin around so there are no folds in the skin where it is touching the base ring. You will have excess scrotum skin - push that to the sides, so the excess is at the ends of the "C" shaped gap between the end of the cage and the base ring.
2. Apply some A&D Ointment to the scrotum skin where it touches the base ring. A&D Ointment has a base of lanolin, a natural grease, and the Vitamins A & D in it help the skin heal.
3. If ball burn develops, slide the scrotum up or down so the base ring is pressing on a different piece of skin. Also push any excess skin to the sides, to get rid of any folds in the skin.

by the way.. there are manufacturers of chastity belts with rings where the pitch is not 5mm, but 3mm

 

It can make all the difference, for me the perfect size is 47mm, thought I’d be fine with a 45mm as it’s only 2mm, when I moved to a different device, nope! Ended up with a huge blister on my scrotum.

 

Even less than 5mm can be the difference between not comfortable and spot on.

But with the number PI involved, 5mm in diameter is actually 15.something mm in circumference!

for me 45mm is way too loose…
40mm is way to tight!

im at 42 now. Which is really comfortable but maybe just a bit on the loose side still.
as my cage is a custom, it’s hard to re-order a different ring that fits the cage perfectly but if I could have, I would probably end up at 41 or even 41,5mm

 

It took a while to get the size right, my magic number is 54mm. The issue that creates for me is the horizontal gap between the ring and cage piece is too large, but that’s a whole different fitting dilemma!

 

Surely though the perfect size changes as you get older? I'm currently in a 55mm ring, the biggest I've ever used but I was previously self locking for 6-8 hours and could easily manage in a 50mm ring.
Now I've introduced chastity to my sexy wife (KH), I'm not too sure I could do the smaller ring full time.
Doesn't help that I've got a scar that keeps opening up again at the base of my sack due to an ill fated experiment with a hinged ring (The Devil).

 

For the ball burn I found that sudacrem ( antiseptic cream normally used on nappy rash ) is perfect I always carry a little pocket tub with me .

 

Why would that part of your body change size as you age? You’re saying it gets bigger?

 

I feel it's a never ending battle of finding the right gap and dimensions. Since our bodies are always changing. Weight gain weight loss, etc one day it fits perfectly the next time you try you can't wear it for even a few hours...

 

there are a thousand different approaches. But your title is 100% correct. 5mm is a gigantic change.

I have a series of cherry keeper rings. I can easily discern ONE millimeter difference.

five mm is huge. Again, a lot of different responses you can make, but you are NOT imagining things.
