What’s the difference between these cages?

I think with any of these cages the difference in feel would be minuscule. I wouldn’t over think it.

I briefly flicked through them and one had a hinged ring (I believe), I’d avoid that one. I’d also avoid the spikes, they don’t prevent pullout, just cause a pinch point for irritation.

Personally, I’d go for the one with the best fit for your specifics. If you’re happy with your current cage I’d try matching that closely.
Weight would be my next decider.

Fully enclosed are very comfortable, but for long term hygiene becomes an issue.

 

One thing that is quite a difference... I'd suggest to avoid cages that only have a single post to connect the cage with the ring, and go for one that has twin pins each side of the lock.

The reason being, those cages with just a single post tend to have a lot of movement between cage and ring, both angular front to back and rotational side to side. Anyone trying to size a cage knows just how much difference a few millimetres makes, but if the cage locking mechanism has too much play, it can be both too tight and pinch and too loose allowing a ball to escape, all at the same time.

Oval or ergonomic rings also tend to fit better than plain round rings, mainly because they compensate for the gap being different sizes around the ring due to the base ring and cage ring being different sizes and off centre to each other.

I'd also avoid rings with a hinge, they're notorious for pinching hairs and skin, something you can't avoid if there's any movement at all between the parts.

Have a look at the FRRK range of cages. I have one and they tick all the boxes. One reason I got mine was because they do a larger 37mm cage, but they also do smaller diameter cages, 34mm I believe, unlike many manufacturers, most of their cages have the cage diameter advertised.
They have a number of designs with both open and enclosed cages. I have the one that looks like a realistic short penis, it's very comfortable, no issues at all with pinching or skin issues. HAving a generous foreskin I've had pinching problems with all my previous cages, and after a decade and very many cages, this is the first one that has eliminated that issue. I wouldn't worry about having a wider cage, that just isn't an issue for comfort for most people, length is much more important, and that model comes in a variety of lengths, each made by them adding an extra ring to the bottom of the cage.
