Hi there. I'm currently using a cobra styled cage, however I feel I'm having issues with the gaps in the device.. like when flaccid in the cage, the glans is poking out if the gaps at the end of the cage, which works to hold it in place and isn't uncomfortable, but is this normal? In addition to this then, if I get hard at all, while it's good at stopping it, I tend to swell heavily outside of the two gaps on the side just before the glans, this can be painful and sometimes results in small cuts but minor sanding in this area has stopped the cuts. Is there anything you guys may know to hopefully help with not swelling outside these gaps so much? It prevents longer term wear as it stands
I was getting an issue with my cobra style device where the glans was getting itchy sore spots. Not sure why. Plastic cage and clean… a pity because it is a pretty comfy cage for the most part
I agree many of the plastic cages are very comfortable to wear, but so is a properly fitting metal cage…and some are very light. That was always the issue I had with plastic…harder to keep clean and odor free and if the “holes” etc weren’t lined up right it was a mess in the bathroom etc. I know everyone has their opinions and likes/dislikes, but metal worked best for me (and still does).
I have a cobra style cage and I’m shocked at how well it fits and how comfortable it is. I forget it’s there. Sounds like yours could be one size too small. Good luck.
Thanks for the replies, generally speaking it is pretty comfortable.. I've tried the size up with the same issue it does appear to be a width thing then.. I've had a look and the legit cobras do have a wider option, but right now I can't afford to splash out on one of them which is a bit of a shame :/
Do you have a real one or a Chinese knock off? I have a real one ... no problems. Before I got a real one, I bought a knock off for shits-n-giggles. The knock off was a POS. Cheap, ill-fitting, and it irritated my skin as well.
A little late to this one....but I put some clear tape over the holes....on the inside. Keeps me from swelling through the holes. Made a huge difference. Clear plastic knock off.
Cobra cages just didn’t agree with my peenie. Something about the configuration or the ratio of material to gaps specifically inflamed me and I’d basically get athlete’s peenie. I’ve since switched to a short Cherry Keeper and had no further issues.
I've been looking at a stainless cobra cage as my holiday present from wife/kh. I like its open along the shaft so she can tease me. So I'm curious if they are comfortable for long term wear. That or steel the guardian from oxy shop? Any opinions or advice?
My issue with my innie cage is that when my penis is squished back the loose skin ends up pinched between the ring and the cage itself.
