I purchased a few knock off plastic/resin devices to get fit right. Currently cobra nub. The ultimate goal is to get a steel or metal device but I'm afraid to pull the trigger.

The knock off devices all cause a bad rash/ peeling on penis. I heard you can possibly boil them to get chemicals out? Any other ideas so they don't all have to go in the trash can? They actually fit quite well!

I tried the knockoff Cobra Nano first before switching to the authentic K3D’s N+.

To be honest I don’t see any major differences in terms of the material. The knockoff is a bit rough on edges but I could easily sand them out. There was no skin reaction for me anyway.

The main problem with these knockoffs are that they only offer a set selection of sizes. One size of the ring is too large for me, and the next smaller size would chafe the hell out.

K3D’s sizes are much more detailed. I am still trying out different base rings from them though.

I have no experience with plastic cages, I did a lot of research before buying, and ended up with a stainless steel cage.
Might I suggest looking on Amazon, Ebay or Etsy.
Good luck I hope you find something good for you
