Somehow, having that end of the tube rubbing inside the urethra for a long time doesn’t work for me.

Better sit to pee than get a uti or something

 

It seems like a lot of work and risk to make peeing 10% better. In reality I can still pee standing up if I line everything up just right. When I had my Amicus I had zero issues- I was centered all the time and could always stand. With my BAW I finally got a wider cage (the Amicus was too narrow for me) but that came with needing to line up ahead of time. In reality now I just sit and go unless I'm at the office and then I grab a wad of paper and use the urinal after lining up unless there are other guys there. Then I just use the toilet.

 

I have had a looker 2 for about 12 years and used the urethral insert, never with an issue. The only lube I used was my own spit. I remember the very first time I put it on was a bit of a rush, and it hurt a bit but then it was locked on me for a week with no issues.

In the last 18 months I have migrated to a steelheart 2 slightly modified to use a urethral tether made of stainless steel, which is actually a perfect solution, though it took a bit of getting there. The tether is now more comfortable that the looker 2 insert because it only goes into your dick about 33mm where the retainer sits. And I cant feel it at all, I just cant pull my dick out of the cage, in fact I can only get about a 5mm gap if i pull on it to the front of the cage.

Currently the retainer and spout have been in me since August last year I think, it does not get removed for PIV rather we cap it which helps cut down the mess I make when I cum.

Peeing can be done standing no issues...tapping on the cage empties the short tube, tho I usually make a little pad out of some toilet paper to catch any residue.

Ill take it out annually to check its ok, very easy to take out, can be a bitch to put in, and also get your sizing right.

But you kind of pay for what you get. Steelworx is top notch stainless, I had some early issues with corrosion of the spout (which was made by someone else) but had steelworx make me one out of high grade stainless. No more issue. I regularly go swimming in the sea, again no issues with corrosion, and never in 12 years had an infection.

 

In my case it is for security. I don't care whether or not it is easy for him to pee.

My sub-hubby does not intentionally try to escape from his cage, he knows better and that he will punished if he tries. But his little penis is so small that it sometimes slips out of his mini-cage, especially when bathing. The urethral tube makes this impossible.

 

You will likely get an infection as rubber is very tough to sterilize.

i do sit to pee when i go but i has to wear a tube in me cos my cage is like a plate and i cudnt have a pee if i had not got one inside me.

 

I wore a Looker 2 knock off for about 2 years and had a very similar experience with @Ms_Brook 's husband. I only stopped wearing it because the urine began going around the tube making it a little messy. I did have the "pipe gurgling" sensation, probably for the same reason.

The steel tube extended behind the ring, as she said, which made it harder to cheat which we liked. Never had a UTI or other issue, but was careful to sterilize twice a week.

I would wear this style again if I could find one with a larger steel tube to reduce the urine going around it. It's a wild sensation not being able to feel yourself pee or cum. : )

 

I've tried several before ordering my Looker01 with removable urethra tube.

I must say I like the initial sensations of the tube going inside my urethra, and feeling extra trapped by it.

From experience I try to stay away from the silicone ones with metal ends, to many things can go wrong from all the elements involved (not that it happen but my minds isn't at ease with it). Also less easy to keep it clean, as a metal tube will be easier to sterilise.

With the Looker02 it feels a little more safe, first of all the quality is just top notch and I wouldn't go near anything not off that level. But still I get sore from extended wear. Made it just over 3 days with the tube inserted, but after a while I feel burning inside from rubbing on the steel insert and so quit trying for longer stints. Now it only comes out to play for maybe a day or less. I've not been able to progress beyond those max 3 day. And probably will not try anything long term with the urethral tube inserted. I just doesn't work longterm for my body.
The urethral insert for the my looker01 is about 1/2 to 1 inch beyond the a-ring. Nice feature is that I received a small screw that I can screw at the top, to close the tube up.

The gurgling sound is also something I've experienced, and has to do with difference in pressure while peeing. Like other mentioned too, I would call it like airbubbles rushing through old plumming, very weird sensation too.
