my thoughts are as long as you feel comfortable. If you want to push yourself, you could use chaster, or elmalock like many around here do and set your lock time to "more than before," that is, if your previous record was a week, set it to a week and a day. Not sure about chaster, but emlalock allows you to disable all the things that add to your time if you just want a set timeframe, but those things do make it more exciting (and you still have the safety net of a maximum duration)
On emlalock you can set a minimum time then if your near that time and your ready to go longer you can go on your session and add more to the minimum and max if you need a longer max
Nick, I think it also helps to consider that your self locking is "preparation" for the day when you DO find a keyholder. So I recommend practicing to get better and better at chastity. A little at a time. The more skilled you become at it, the easier it will be for a new keyholder to help you. You don't want her (or him) to have to learn EVERYTHING.
Glad that you embark on the chastity journey.. started with self-locking as mostly will.. self discipline and honesty is too important.. it could be fun, it could be a game, it could also be self purification to weed off unnecessary behaviour, habits and thoughts.. wish you all the best in seeking a partner to partake the journey along… but lockers are greatly outnumbered by lockees here..
well if you have not got somebody that keeps you locked up then its up to you innit. i think that if you new to being locked up then it best that you only dose it for a bit and then you can do it for longer and longer when you get use to being locked up. If you have got somebody that keeps you locked up then its up to them and not you.
You and I seem to be on the same path as i too am new to chastity and am doing this solo as well. I started with trying to go 6-12-18-24 hours at a time but have now been locked for 1week 2days. I am using Chaster they have a lot to chose from and i started with exceed your limits and went straight into a week in chastity when the timer ran out. whats good about these is there is a can not exceed limit so there is a max time and you know that before starting the lock. So far i am enjoying the experience.
