    It really is and I'm surprised how comfortable the Jail Bird is over the HTv2. Slept through the night with no problem. Had to use a little lube this morning.
    Just wish I had someone to share this with.

    We are now on week 5 today!!! Hopefully my locked boy's Jailbird comes next week!!! The CB6k is tedious and i want to be able to time him down and put his cage back on after I am done using him with no difficulty...

    I once wore a CB6000s and it was a pain to maintain. Then one of the ears broke off the ring. That was the last straw.

    Security was also a problem.

    Security is not a problem with my current device. Depending on how you look at it.

    Just remember he'll still have to soften up before you can recage him... We leave the ring on often for play--acts as a cock ring and makes recaging a little easier afterwards. Otherwise he will need to be virtually completely flacid. Ice works pretty well to speed up the softening...lol

    Yes, we received the Jailbird and for the most part it has been good. He says it is extremely comfortable, although sleeping thru the night is taking some getting used to, which happened with his CB 6k as well. The way my boy is built though, we had to modify a KSD anti pullout device made for the CB 6k to keep him from being able to pull out and to prevent the whole unit from sliding down too far. Believe me, we can barely fit one ball thru the ring, and everything fits as it should. As for the cage itself, honestly, the security screw option is not worth it at all. it likes to back out, so we had to use thread lock to keep it in place. Also, i can't put the cage on myself..i need his help. The way it is built, the post that comes from the ring and the hole where it slides into the cage makes things a bit difficult because it is round, so its hard to guide the screw in the right way. If MM made the post and hole square, it would be SO much easier. As far as play goes, we have finally started seriously getting into it. I have had him locked up since Tuesday morning and we have finally found a suitable strap on to use on me, so it is finally going to be much easier for me to keep his member locked away;)

    Being a self locker I had the same problem with my MM Jail Bird getting the screw in correctly. I solved it by, using the stem of a qtip to line up the holes(cut off the fuzzy part). Then I purchased a longer screw (2 inches) that gave me a better grip and then screwed it in. Lastly I screwed the short screw from the other side backing out the longer screw.
    Works like a dream and I don't fumble with that short screw and screw driver.

    Somewhere on here is postings saying use an old pantyhose. Pot the house on him, feed the hose out the end of his cage, then just slip the cage down the hose. Finally pull the hose off him out the end

    We chose the padlock option. I don't find there to be any difficulty lining up the holes to put the lock in, but my wife usually prefers I do it--so perhaps she has difficulty...lol My wife hasn't found a 'replacement' for me that she likes or prefers to me. Consequently I am often desperately trying not to finish while she enjoys herself. Enjoy your strapon... and all the best with the jailbird!
