    Hi all,
I have just received a new JailBird device--it came yesterday and I'm wearing it today. Just wondering, do people who wear this device use any type of lube around the ring to ensure there is no rubbing of the area raw?? I'm finding it mostly comfortable but am concerned that it may be causing some portential for pain...
    Thanks

If it gets sore and raw, neosporin helps a lot. I have been able to keep wearing the device using it so the skin gets used to it.

All I use is a good hand cream around bottom of base ring once a day so ring won't pinch skin

Your skin will "toughen up" over time ... but I still use a tiny tiny drop of silicone lube on the bottom of the A-ring. I put the device on fully, then once every thing is adjusted right I put a drop of lube on my finger and rub it on the skin behind the ring (even closer to body) then I pull the skin through a bit more getting the lube on the ring ... I move the ring around and keep working the lube up the side of the ring ... once it is to where the bottom half has lube on it, I then wipe off the "excess" with a dry towel. This will usually keep just enough lube there to prevent the ring from pulling on the skin, but not so much that things want to slide off. The silicone lube usually lasts till the next shower. This way is used because you do not need to remove the device.

Thanks to all. I will try something like this. I was concerned that the lube might cause difficulty in keeping the cage on.. Danleft1, I will use your technique. See what happens.
