Does anyone know what sort of material (manufacturer) that the steel belt makers use on the shields? I've been having a problem with mine on my Hilmer/William Jones belt and figured out how to fix it if I can get some more of the edging. My biggest problem is that Kelly Hilmer didn't fix it after I sent it back, and won't return my calls, so now that I found a solution I figured I'd do it myself if I can find some of the material. Anyway, if anyone has any idea where I can get the material I'd really appreciate it. (and I've checked Lowes, a local independent hardware store, and a local supply house).
I was thinking while reading this, what about a Windshield repair place, the have the rubber type stripping that goes around the windshields, maybe that would work. Anyway...just a thought. Mistress Michelle :sex020:
Hi, there is not much i can say about a "William Jones" but as far as i know all manufacturers are using either Neoprene or Silicone for the edging. My Neosteel has a lining made of Silicone. It is glued on with a special stuff and when asking what glue it is i wasn't told ... probably a secret of the company. Sorry i can't help but you should not stop pestering the manufacturer to fix it. maid katrin

edging we tried a lot of different ways ,,, the result was in the end the masterpiece system from neosteel,, there are no profiles what so ever and it works much better !! steel on the skin is less resistant...and it last for ever !!! reg. gweny
Hi Tom, Here is a copy of some of a note that someone sent me when I was looking for belts and had a lot of questions. "I have found a useable alternative: RAYRIM-NR7-O Panel edging, made by a firm called Tyco. You can cet it from Farnell electronics components. It is put on with a heatgun and is very durable. It has lasted for more than a year now, and shows no signs yet of peeling off." I have the silcone linner and have had my belt for two years now and have no signs of wear. Some of the linner has loosen at the eages, and I thought I read somewhere that silcone bathroom cocking would hold, I have tried yet, should before it get too loose and tearse. Just another thing this Missy needs to get done, Oh my my work never ends, Lol.. Hope this helps some, Missy Tanya
