I’m looking for some feedback regarding potential pitfalls and other things to consider when working out while locked. Any and all feedback is appreciated.
Depending on your cage and your pants, you can have a fairly noticeable bulge. Significantly more than with any other pants. My gym shorts are bad. My biking shorts are borderline obscene. I personally prefer to do any sort of cardio exercise wearing underwear with more support than boxers though that might just be a personal thing. Flopping about with a cage is not particularly fun.
I don't workout at a gym but I try to remain fairly active. Once I finally found a comfortable cage I knew I'd be wearing 24/7 I felt comfortable enough to try physical activity with it. I've been able to do everything with it on and have had no consequences. If you find anything uncomfortable you'll subconsciously adjust to it so it works. The only cage I ever had trouble with was my Holy Trainer. I would push our then new born son around our subdivision in his stroller. I found I chaffed really bad trying walk distances in that thing. That might have been because I was still new to chastity and getting used to wearing a cage. In the end I believe that a perfect fit and a steel device over plastic is key for comfort.
I agree with @Unlucky on the padded underwear too. I bought some incontinence that are padded up front and hide any outline of the cage. They also hold it in place like a bra so it's not making itself obvious.
I hit the gym regularly when locked, the only time I have noticed a big bulge is when I am doing something that requires laying down on a bench. Most excercises can be done alternately where you don’t need to lay down. But in those instances your cage makes a big difference. I wear a longer t-shirt and tighter underwear to minimize the visible lump from the cage.
Using HT, swimming ok, cycling need padded shorts, gym no problem, mountaineering need some more lube to testicles (me thigh a bit close to testicles)
I am fine in gym, on bike, and swimming. The only a activity which I do that I have not done while locked is skiing. I just don't want to take a good fall while wearing my device.
I go to gym locked on a regular basis. My HT2 is comfy with most activities. I usually wear a thong to tuck in a little extra and then cycle shorts under gym shorts. I would swim in Lycra swim shorts. The bulge is nothing a towel can’t hide when getting in and out of the pool.
I do a lot of HIIT training and fnd that I'm good until it comes to mountain climbers, sit throughs and some of burpees (esp. with jumps)... was wondering whether a jockstrap might be the answer
Lori 8c no issues. Evotion cage 8 huge hard not to notice bulge especially on the bench. Since I squat medium weight of 300lbs I always use lotion to avoid anything weird during the movement .
It really is all about the cage and what works for you. I wear my Sissy cage by Red Chili nearly all of the time. I am only released for air travel or events that require going through a metal detector. My cage is very comfortable and because of its downward design it is not noticeable in anything, bike shorts, Lycra, Speedo's, etc. The screw lock is what keeps it super low profile. I have found that devices that require a padlock, or have a traditional key get bulky because of the locking mechanism.
