http://metro.co.uk/2016/01/08/presenting-the-future-of-contraception-the-dick-switch-5610025/ Saw this, its pretty awesome if it works from a contraceptive perspective, i would definatly have it done once its proven safe , i just kind of wished it really was a "dick switch" and worked on the erectile tissue.. and was remote controlled... imagine no belt or device needed, just your keyholder with a car door style keyfob.. Beep and your up... Beep and your down... and once down, you would go up again without the fob.
I wish I had that instead of having the vasectomy. A few years after the snip I really regretted the decision.
Quite an interesting idea indeed! Do you mean this paragraph, @Wendygirl ? "Think about it: no more hormones flying around your body, no need to remember to pick up condoms, just a little jiggle of the balls and you’re good to go." If so, I read it as "no more hormones frying through your [partner's] body." As in she wouldn't have to be on hormonal contraceptives. But not sure if that's what they meant or not. Without a doubt you're correct that such a device would have no absolutely no impact on the hormones a male experiences.
Indeed as it works bit like a reversible vasectomy or that is the jist. However that would mean if you had a vasectomy you would have no testosterone !! Not exactly what happens. Xx Wendy
