    how about you do that for a bit then gradually start to introduce locked nights again slowly and see how you go on nights it doesn't matter so much if you have some disturbed sleep? it doesn't always have to be all or nothing and no shame in saying im going to unlock tonight I need sleep for a busy day tomorrow etc

    That might work… I can take a risk if I know I’ll be home all the next day and if that goes well then I can shift to taking the cage off when I know I need to rest up that night.

    Did I mention I live in a shared residence? If not, then lets just say I live with 3 other people who like to nose into other people's business and today a pack of zip-ties I ordered for my CB6000S came in and someone here opened it thinking it was theirs. When they saw it was zip-ties and not what they ordered, they started asking questions... Over stupid zip-ties! I told them to shut up and mind their own business before I really get mad. :mad: I gave them the glare.

    Ireckon for most of us onece you get used to the cage you can go progressively longer without getting yourself in some sort of state

    A lot of thr authors of chastity books etc recommend getting used to wearing your device then be honest with your partner when asked about how long you think you can go
    she should then keep you denied for at least double that
    and then they tend to go one way or the other
    some say every denial period should be double the last
    and some say just keep increasing the denail period in gradually increasing increments

    your Lady's or your choice I suppose

    I can just give you the experience I had when I was beggenning, if there is any place to grow, you wil lgrow, the cage must be very tight, else it will wake up.
    Also I use a belt that push the cage to the body and it change everything; now cage and ring stay in place and night erections has totally disapeared.
    Of course you need some time to adapt but be sure that your body will remember and even don't try to get erected.
    I used another trick, I used tights nylon that has an supressive effect of erection on me as it press a lot, it works for me don't garanty it works for others, maybe you can try something like this?
    And yes, cage is adictive, when you pass the first weeks it is nice to wear and it became part of you.

    For the rest be sure to pee well before bed, have a good matress and so.... So you can focus on the cage.

    Well, thanks to the great people who replied to this thread I now know what's going on with me... It's orgasm withdrawal. You see, for more than 30 years I was jerking off to pretty much everything you can think of, as well as getting laid as often as I could in my 20's and 30's. Then half a year ago, I just switched it off by going into chastity and the pent up feelings are what's keeping me up at night.

    But yes, I agree partial erections at night can get quite painful, where as total confinement is pretty painless (and blissfully frustrating) both in the day and at night. Yes, I use an elastic support strap to keep my ring close to my body in all situations and it really makes a difference. :+1:

    For now, I'm unlocking myself for most of my nights when I go to sleep (I'm looking to change that gradually). That's helping alot. I always lock myself back in my cage first thing every morning before I get all horny and aroused.

    Not what you want to hear probably but just powering through and getting used to sleeping in it is most likely only way you'll get used to it. It sucks a little a couple weeks then gets to where it's normal. Besides that doesn't read like a cage thing but general life stress thing messing your sleep up.

    I know what the issue is now... You're half right. General life stress (also changing weather) is screwing up my sleep, but it's also orgasm withdrawal. When you spend more than 30 years jerking off to cumming as a stress reliever, between several and a dozen times, literally every day of your life, it gets hard-wired into your system and your body will do whatever it takes to get regular orgasms. That's why I'm having trouble sleeping. So caged or not caged at night, it won't make a difference one way or the other.

    In that case if sleeping caged is the goal why not wear it if it's result either way. By time your body is used to less orgasms it'll be used to the cage. Seems win win if staying caged is the goal.

    If you were bashing one out 6-12 times a day would you not be best to slowly cut that down start where you think you can, eg once ever other day then slowly draw it out longer and longer?
