Freedom of speech in the forum.....again.

I am sorry if you didn't understand my posting, but it wasn't about one person in particular, but rather about all the whining about staff decisions during the last weeks in general. Would it be more actual this posting could have been in one of TitaniumChastiTis threads about him quitting. But those are somewhat older and didn't have such a pathetic heading

But speaking about "Ms Amanda": Rest assured that after she tried to bully me once she knew quite well what i thought about her.

 

Who on here paid for that website was a members view part.

That is the thing and once you rumbled that she was not quite what she seemed then not quite so friendly to say the least .
In fact you then became a target as many found out.
However be good to move on .

Well it's a good job we're all talking about someone who's no longer here isnt it.
Indeed, the same could (and possibly should) very well be said for a good many who've come out of the woodwork on this very thread.

Move on? It doesn't sound like some are, they're just re-parroting the same old same old.

 

I think it's perfectly right that for some members who now feel more comfortable with things that they can post again.

Yes it needs to be done in a calm and measured way , but it's not totally inappropriate I feel for the moment anyway.

Surely no one uninterested in the topic matter is forced to look, or respond. The thread topic is clear, not on anyone's intro thread or invading anyone's space so to speak.

I think dialogue, even if opinions differ, or are of no intrinsic value due to circumstance , hurts no one that wants to participate.

That's just me though, I also don't mind talking about religion in a pub either lol. I find communication with a worthy counter view refreshing and sparks new ideas.

I own a fairly large forum, and post regularly on a few others. They all have the same rules. Moderators' decisions are final, and any public discussion of moderation will be deleted. I would commend those rules to this forum.

 

@Thatguyontheinternet I have exactly the same opinion as you. I pop in to the Mansion in need of some interaction and a place to voice some of my thoughts and recently all I get is squabbling and vitriol. It is one of the main reasons I am not encouraging Elle to start posting, even more of an issue than the frantic fantasists and dick pic posters some of the lady members have to put up with. It just makes me sad and leaves me less willing to join in.

 

Im currently taking a sabbatical from here but I did promise @SubVerity I would call past now and again and add to the discussion where I thought it appropriate.

You dont mention the nature of the forum you own or the nature of the ones you post in @Uehara, I take part in several of an Engineering nature, they dont even have moderators, they are not required due to the professionalism of those posting, without Trolls that sites of this nature appear to attract.

The rules you commend to this forum are simply unworkable, some Mods are at loggerheads with each other, advise and abuse members after another Mod has already quoted he will close the post down if the tone does not alter, but yet it continues.

I wish you well turning around the biggest Chastity Forum Oil Tanker on the High Seas, it will flourish as @Administrator has determination to see it succeed going forward, I hope to be part of it going forward but we will see, like Jens my time is very valuable to me and found I spent far too many hours standing a corner I shouldnt really have been defending. There was also a post about me having a avatar that was inappropriate, simply simply wrong I have never done anything than to make this place a better place for all especially female members, avatars of an inappropriate naturefor me show a blatant disrespect for the future member Jens is wanting to attract !!!

I did say I would lock the thread if the bickering didnt stop - and mostly people were more civil. As much as I dislike unfriendlyness, I think especially at the moment people are under a fair amount of stress generally. We're studiously ignoring the fact that xyz (insert own countries social calamity here) is happening at home and abroad, on top of which it's winter. So a thread where whinging is done by those that wish to whinge has it's place on a social forum, as much as to prevent it spilling over onto every other thread.

 

Cutting Amanda loose was a mistake. I have a lot of experience on message boards -- and the back and forths on here are Disneyland compared to other sites. Amanda was smart, experienced, and chose her words well. She was also an enthusiast -- as opposed to other women here who pose as Domme but are seeking paid clients for their services or other interests. I must seriously dissent from your decision. Have to say living with this decision dovetails nicely with having to tolerate Donald Trump as POTUS.

 

If I could see the statistics, I'd probably see that you were (a) then #1 most followed poster in this forum and (b) garnered the most likes for your comments. Well done and from my POV -- no one can fill your shoes.

 

It was a convivial Sunday-afternoon exchange of banter between two lovely and most agreeable people. They could have been sharing a pot of Earl Grey and enjoying the strawberries and cream on the lawn at Wimbledon. Ms. Amanda pointed out in a most pleasant fashion that the apparatus in question had a pointy bit or something that wasn't aesthetically pleasing to her and slave-stroppy suggested with the utmost concern that she might need to visit an optometrist. And that's about it.

And after she'd gone things got a little less polite and fingers started to point. I noticed people even stopped saying Ms. Amanda's name, like it might conjure up a Mascara^Snake spirit or something scary. 'Moving on' became the popular catch-phrase. Apparently there are still quite a few people having a hard time moving on without Ms. Amanda.
