With a full erection I can push my penis into the tube from just below the frenulum, with foreskin forward. Then pull on the foreskin to line it up. Then by pushing the ring forward, and cage back I can squeeze it together. My cage is my profile pic, with a slightly modified tip to open it up a little. Then my wife inserts the lock.
