I was curious as to how married couples with the husband using a chastity device delt with sex after the husband had the vasectomy and how they delt with the process of achieving the desired results and how long they spent doing it. By that I mean that my doctor said he needed about 25 ejaculations before he submitted a semen sample to verify the vasectomy had been 100% successful. My gynocologist and my husbands doctor did not discuss any of this and nor is there info on the psychological or physical issues involving the vasectomy. I wonder if this has been discussed anywhere. I had one and after the operation you are meant to stay clear of your partner for a couple of weeks and then they want a sample taken in that is fresh or you do it there... I would be interested in this as I have had mine for quite a while - and I am told your cum taste different....
Sperm is maybe 5% of what you ejaculate. The consistency, taste, colour and smell of semen will be unaffected by a vasectomy. The things that affect all those are diet, alcohol smoking, all those things. After my vasectomy it took 6 months to become sperm free.
