The inverted / negative device is the most secure and comfortable cage that I have been locked in. There is no way to see, touch, or play with the little clitty.
i do not use the urethra sound on the inverted device. After urinating, I was the area with water and daily showers keep everything nice and clean.
I've got 2 inverted devices. One with solid and flexible urethral tubes. Neither work that well for me. Both tubes are about 3-4mm narrower than my urethra, so urine goes around the sides and finds a multitude of different escape routes from behind the inverter. Some comes through the tube of course. The biggest problem is pee being witheld in the tube and behind the cage, only to leak out 30-60 minutes later. I wore this cage for a month but was allowed to unlock daily for showers and often to pee if my Goddess was present. Since then I've got a new one with the detachable dildo as pictured at the start of the thread. No urethral tube on this one. It's got a cup that fits over my glans instead. I can roll my foreskin up over the outside of the cup and it creates a pretty good seal. The downside is that the hole from the cup to the front of the cage is woefully narrow and it cannot cope with the flow rate of my urine. The pressure builds in the cup and eventually blows out around the cup and foreskin. It doesn't retain urine like the tube did though. I've gone about 50 hours without unlocking so far, and then only unlocked to remove the cage to shave - something I'm required to do every 2-3 days. The dildo is nonsense. It's very small, despite it being the largest option. I struggled to penetrate my Goddess with it more than an inch. It also came away from the threaded steel fastening tube in its base that attaches it to the cage. Silicone to steel adhesives are a specialist item, so I've not repaired it yet. When I get some I may try and attach a larger dildo to it. Photos of mine are in my gallery.

I managed to wear the solid urethral tube inverted cages day and night for over a month, with daily unlocking for hygiene. I never had an infection. Peeing was so messy that it was not conducive to wearing for longer periods without daily unlocks.
Erections were impossible in the cage, and it didn't affect me negatively when I was allowed out. Everything functioned normally.
