    Hi,
    I am Infernal Mecanix, I want to show you my Tether Spout! I designed and made this on my cnc lathe from surgical grade Titanium (Ti64Alv) Worked nicely and I will make more. Any size and with custom laser engraving if you wish. Making oval shaped retainers to go with it. What do you think? Thanks!

    You have to round all edges, otherwise insertion will become a bloody mess.
    I have a fotograph of the spouts I got custom made in my profile.
    No sharp edges, even the thread were polished to get rid of too sharp contours.
    The biggest deal was to get the 3.5 mm hex shaped.

    As @good2fun says, everything needs to be super smooth and radiused. The burrs at the very bottom and on the cross drilling will need to be removed. The tubing looks a lot thicker than other spouts I've seen, but I have no idea if that is an issue or an advantage.

    Otherwise looks really nice, it will be interesting to see the retainers.

    Thank you! That was OP1 - already done. OP2 added and extra radius and removed the burrs. Next it went into a special polishing machine and everything comes out silky smooth. I use this myself so know all about what is needed. I also offer anodising and laser engraving. More pictures to follow!

    Dimension are 6mm external with a 4mm internal through hole so that is 1mm wall thickness.

    All already done. That was OP1. OP2 took care of those important points. Next into the polishing machine for a satin finish and no burrs anywhere. I am a designer and CNC machinist. Attention to detail is important. I also use these things myself. Many ways to make a 3.5mm hex, just depends what you want to pay as to which way it is done. Broaching is cheaper, milling is possible, spark erosion better but more expensive...

    I just saw your custom spout. That would be no problem at all. I am in the process of designing a different locking mechanism. As that is outside of the urethra much more is possible with regards to a locking mechanism. Your spout it simply milled...

    Different. You need the correct tooling and machine. Not necessarily harder but if you don't do it right it will bite you..

    Probably just the lighting in the picture but the locking hole still looks like it has a burr on what is the top edge in the picture.
    If you decide to go into business making them on the side I'd be interested.

    Hi! No burr, that is material deformation from the drilling but is perfectly smooth. I will remove that with another operation in process. It must be done when the job is on the machine as it is a 3d chamfer contour tool path.

    I am going to start selling them and Chasity devices. All happening! I will message you... Thanks!

    Just finished my first retainer ring in titanium. 10mm diameter, 2mm thick. Quite a tricky little part. I will make a special tool to generate all the radius features. Now to examine everything and make more!

    This is too angular, you need to increase the radius. The original steel retainers from TetherSpout shoud be your guide, they are incredible smooth and rounded.
    Otherwise, great job! I am interested in purchasing from you, as I don't like the bawpro option.
