I realize this probably has been discussed so many times people are tired of it by now but I am starting to have trouble with base rings and trying support straps. I realize I am probably gonna have to have a cage customs made now. But really can’t afford one at this time. Just looking for more advice or sites to go to that I seem to not be able to fine with better reasonable priced cages and base rings. The support straps that o seem to be able to find are only the elastic style and don’t seem to hold up on a daily basis. Tried making my own and that was a complete failure. On the base rings I seem to do well for a good while on a hinged ring, but 55 mm seems too big and 50 mm seem too small. Finding in between sizes with the right style open cage seems to be just as difficult. I prefer open cages so it makes cleaning easier with out having to remove on a daily basis. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love this it has brought a lot of help and insight to my new life as a 24/7 locked sub/slave. Yes I do have a mistress and she is my wife and she does hold the key to her toy. It has been an amazing new year for us both.
Congrats to you and your wife! I don't have much to say about straps other than I don't use them. Base rings, I've found to be the most important part of the fit. I've felt a major difference in comfort with only a few mm of difference in the base ring (or 1/8th of an inch), and that difference was enough to determine whether I could sleep with it on or not. If this is an option for you, I also use an ergonomic flat ring, which has been a difference maker for sure. I don't even need to apply lotion or anything at this point, which might be attributed to experience rather than the base ring itself, but the flatness of the ring feels much more comfortable to me. Either way, good luck finding the right fit! It definitely takes time and experimentation, but with enough persistence, you'll get there
If you need in between sizes for rings cherry keeper go up by the MM, and there very reasonably priced to. As for straps I don’t use one but I think the buckleless belt advertising on tv would make a great hard wearing support strap.
I use a chain for support strap with it attached to a home made front plate that rests above the lock mechanism and is attached to it Cannot get fingers into this area to enable myself to grasp root of penis So this plate plus chain make pull out impossible Chain is surprisingly comfortable It's all pretty permanent though, quite a chore to be released So it's been a year since she last did
So, I have an update here. Ok I tried a 55mm base ring but with a penis cage of only 1” long it aloud for a full erection. So if I am correct that base ring would be too big. I would need a smaller base ring. Please let me know if I am correct.
I haven't personally found a correlation between cage length and ring size; I've used similarly sized rings with vastly different cage lengths.
The idea is simple: Go as snug as you can with a base ring without hurting your circulation. I followed all of the measuring guides for my first cage, which showed me as 53mm or so for a base ring, so I tried a 50mm and it seemed tight. But after a while I tried a 45mm and it worked well and seemed tight. So I tried a 40mm and it worked really well and seems tight. I use a leather strap which I made myself to hold my basering back. This stops my nocturnal erections which sometimes are painful because of pintching my ballsack. I measured my waist, put push buttons on it and finished. Since I used leatherette it had some stretch in it and had to re attach some push buttons. I bought some real leather, which doesnt have too much stretch. Works good looks good. Sometines needs a thorough cleaning.

I've got a post somewhere that talks about what I do. Short summary, I use a really long shoelace and have a way to thread it around myself and the cage that works well. I've got one of the elastic straps too which was a total waste of money. The whole point is to keep the cage tight. Elastic may keep it from bouncing around, but so would underwear. You don't need to spend more than a couple dollars on the shoelace.
You’re so right. Underwear might be a good deal. But fortunately I am not aloud any under garments. I tried asking an and begged to try it to see how it may work. But the begging to try it got me added denial time added and a punishment spanking.
Ask for a jock strap. Maybe something like this: Neo Air Mesh Jock - Black/Grey | Neoprene Jock - Mr. S Leather (mr-s-leather.com). The model makes it look gay but it seems the perfect style for a cage. And your KH may make an exception for this.
Is there anything that's not as elastic as the elastic straps (which really stop holding everything in place once you get an erection) but not as ugly as a shoestrap?
A piece of paracord with an adjustable (sliding) knot can be easily fasioned which holds everything in place but can be cinched tighter for sleeping, looser to reduce the bulge under pants, and loosest when using the toilet. I've added a 3d printed slider on the gold paracord in the picture to limit adjustment and capture the loose end (melted in), but it's not required. Good quality nylon paracord (MIL-C-5040) can be purchased in many colors, drys quickly after bathing, and doesn't get funky or mildewy like elastic or shoestrings.
These are good. I find, particularly with sleeping, I like the back (under) side of the ring to be secured as well. So my threading is a bit more involved, but your idea is so simple. In particular, I like the skip knot.
Thanks, it's a very handy knot to know for all sorts of situations where you need adjustible tension. It can support large loads while still being easily adjusted without untying (it just slides if you push/pull on the knot itself). You're right that just securing the top of the cage allows it to hinge upward if there isn't an attach point at the bottom of the ring, but it comes down to the balance of comfort and security. I don't remove mine for cleaning, so keeping everything at belt level is more practical for me. Swinging the paracord attach points as far to the left and right as possible also helps reduce "hinging". Ideally the cord would attach at 3:00 and 9:00 (centerline of the ring), but then they would be chafing points on the thighs.
Well that is a big no on the jock strap but thanx for the idea. Plus had to suck on a dildo in the corner for 30 minutes for even asking, while she entertained our guests.
A support attached to the device makes it very difficult to remove or pull out the little member, relieves the weight of the steel cage, and makes is more comfortable. There are many ways to attach a waist belt, for maximum security a steel belt would be best.
