Hello, I've received my Carrara 2.0 belt a week ago and have been struggling to get it to close/lock properly. I understand the waistband is somewhat adjustable in size based on the multiple "teeth" or closure points within the locking enclosure. However, even with the belt off, I can't seem to align the waistband arms just right to actually allow the lock to engage (meaning lock). Appreciate any thoughts/feedback from other Carrara 2.0 users out there. Thanks!
Not sure about the issue you're facing. As long as the key is in and turned, and the lever is in the up position, you should see the openings on the plates to the sides. The end of the waistband should fit right in and drop in one of the positions. When both ends are in position, the lever can be moved all the way down and the key turned and locked.
Thanks for getting back to me- I have the belt on the bed, just trying to align the waistband connector into the front module and get the round part to drop into one of the locking slots/teeth - it seems to go and secure OK but when I try to then flip the lever to be closed, it just get stuck, hitting on something. Did it just work for you OK? I'll keep fiddling with it.
I had the same problem. 1st thing I did was spray some white lithium grease inside lock keyhole and both sides where the internal moving plates/parts are.....wipe down excess (mine is all steel/no liner to worry about) Then little by little I made slight bend adjustments. I noticed it's different when locking belt cff your body vs on so try to figure out the small tweak bends needed while actually putting it on your body. Hope this helps
