My BAW device should have shipped a few days ago, if they held schedule, but I haven't received a tracking number. I don't want to bother Youming with questions if possible, so I'll fire these off to the group: How long is typical shipping time to the US if the default shipping is used? How long is typical shipping time to the US if expedited shipping is used? Should I expect to see the order page in Etsy show the status change to "Shipped" after the package has been shipped? Will I receive a tracking number if default shipping is used? Will I receive a tracking number if expedited shipping is used?
I finished the order on April 13th, after some back and forth to sort out the details of the mods I wanted. I selected the expedited shipping. The Etsy order page claimed that the device would be delivered between April 29th and May 19th. I requested one more small mod on May 7th, and was told on the 8th that the device would ship in 20 days, which would be the 28th. After hearing nothing, I finally cracked on June 6th and requested an update. I received a message this morning, June 7th, with a photo of the completed device and a statement that it would be passed to his shipper today. I don't have a tracking number yet. So far, it has been 55 days since I ordered. I'll report back once the device has arrived.
I ordered mine on march 29th, it arrived early may. the shipping was quick when it was done. the quality is top notch. well worth the wait
The cage arrived today, 58 days after I ordered it. The UPS expedited shipping to the USA took 2.5 days from the time I received a tracking number. It is pretty clear that demand for BAW devices is increasing. Hopefully Youming can do whatever it takes to increase his capacity. I'll post a full review and photos in a new thread after I have some more time in the device, but my initial impressions on quality, weight and comfort are all extremely positive.
