    I've read many posts about when or if to remove chastity devices.

    Many ask how long it should stay on. Many wonder if it is OK to ask for it to be taken off.

    I think some slaves are missing the point.

    How does it benefit me, your Owner, to remove your chastity?

    The answer, most likely, is that it doesn't.

    Do you need your chastity removed to pleasure me with your tongue? No.

    Do you need it removed to do your chores? No.

    Would removing your chastity enhance My pleasure or make My life any better? I don't see how. In fact, I enjoy seeing you in it.

    Have to reluctantly agree. In the last 8 years, my device has come off long enough for cleaning shaving then back on again. It comes off for her amusement and back on.     I get to come out once every other week to clean and shave, then it's right back in. Aside from that, it stays locked unless she needs it.

    Shaving and cleaning seem to be the main reasons for removal. There is no need for removal for orgasm release if you can have tiny orgasms occasionally in the cage! My cb-2000 had to be removed at least once a week, sometimes every 3 days or so for hygienic cleaning of bacterial build-up. But my Maturemetal jailbird can stay on much longer, easily 2 weeks, and mostly it gets removed for shaving. Since I am self-locked, I have to make the decision on when, or if, to remove.     Very well put Mistress Brenda! i am on day 111 and i certainly agree the only reason for a release is if a dominant Woman chooses to for Her own reasons. Certainly, submissiveness is constantly reinforced as a mode of being while we subs are locked and completely under control.

    I think the thing that people don't take into account is that not everyone is here because they are a slave/submissive or want or are in a FLR. That doesn't make their reasons for wearing a cage any less valid or important. Added to that some of the most common devices aren't particular great hygiene wise and need to be removed regularly for cleaning. Someone who is simply wearing a cage because they masturbate more than they or their partner would like them too may ask the questions you have seen brendajjq and for them they are relevant.

    As for, if they are in a relationship and wether or not it was ok to ask to take it off, I think it would depend on the relationship and what ground rules were set at the start. I don't think they are missing the point as you state, I just think they maybe either glossed over or didn't think about that part of it during the negotiations.
