Although not specifically about FLRs, I recommend Princess Kali's book Authentic Kink http://www.authentickink.com/

It's a workbook designed to help you clarify your own kinky desires and better communicate those desires to your partner. It's been a great help in my own relationships.

Thank you. At this rate I'm going to have a masters degree in FLR, Chastity and D/s relationships. Just like Rika said.

That will be the last one then. I think I've raced far too far ahead.

I'm reading Rika's book now. It's a super short read so it won't take long.

Some of her ideas are thought-provoking, and others I find a bit hypocritical. For example- she's quite right about initiation of sex adventures to be a mutual task by both genders in the couple. But she also criticizes repeatedly 'modern femdom' as being strictly driven by 'male consumers of porn'. This is in a book that then lays out her version of femdom strictly driven by her female viewpoint. There seems to be more room for an egalitarian approach somewhere, and I think that's in the whole 'gentle femdom' movement (see the subreddit by the same name for more about that). My wife and I certainly fall somewhere between gentle femdom and a mild version of Rika's approach.

All in all the book is well-written and certainly provides some good ideas for anyone in a D/s relationship. I do recommend it overall.

    Hi,

I've once read a report from a mistress that lived together with a slave. She told about a huge application process and about their life together. About that it is all real and that they both know that if he wanted to leave the arrangement she would publish pictures of him and stuff. She was part of some femdom organisation, if I remember correctly it was from the Netherlands...

I can't find it anymore. Anybody here that knows what I'm talking about?!

The book is 'Owning and Training a Male Slave' by Ingrid Bellemare and now is available free online (sadly, the author died from a stroke). My wife and I have studied this book in detail and love it, although some of the ideas are difficult for some to accept. We are endeavouring to implement much of it into our flr. In fact, when I read this book I realised that what I really crave is being a totally submissive cuckold slave. The author explains the difficulty for a married couple to follow the lifestyle and she is correct, particularly in our case, as we have been married for 50 years and have gone down other kinky paths and of course we have many joint family considerations to deal with. Also being retired it is difficult to maintain 24/7 (in her case she was out of the house at work from 8am to 6pm). We would love to find other books and blogs of a similar ilk.

We enjoyed reading it, it´s nearly classic in the meantime

Also the books of Marisa Rudder are quite inspiring. It´s a whole series on FLR in the meantime. Not all books - in my own opinion - are worth their price. But "Love & Obey" is a nice intro into the topic.
