Nobody today is fighting for equal rights, people use to, but now the fight is for sameness. Its a fight that if won women will be the losers.

That seems like it would be a very depressing view to have of yourself! And if it is true then it is also true that every man or woman for themselves. May I suggest viewing yourself as a child of a living God? This later view makes all the difference in how people think of themselves and treat others.

The cultures you speak of certainly go out of their way to disadvantage females, have you run into any people from those cultures on here? Your on a forum filled with people that are going above and beyond to purposefully disadvantage themselves to elevate women! This particular tread is addressing the main issue us men face: women think this level of female honor is unmanly! I suggest your fight is not against men but against cultural mindsets.

 

women had id so good in the 50s and were too stupid to know it.
all they were expected to do was cook and clean and take cere if their kids.all expenses paid for by the men in their lives.
now they have to get a job and fight for raises most of which goes to paying someone to take care of the kids.
they still have to cook,clean,and take care of the kids part time.
and all they do is bitch about that.
and you wonder why we have street gangs all over the place.

 

Have you tried doing that full time? I do that for my grandkids 4 days a week. It's exhausting and can be very challenging to juggle everything! I'm just glad it's not 24x7 for me. OMG!

 

I beg to differ, SOME women had it good, I would think it would have been a hard time on the elderly and single ladies.

Maybe I don't understand, but the title seems like an oxymoron. I can understand attracting feminists to male chastity, but for man to suggest that chastity brings them up to a equal playing field as women? I can't get my mind around that.

It is normal for men to take sexual advantage of women, society views this as normal, some women willingly participate, like in porn. Because of this culture dynamic women have a mindset that this male behavior is masculine, so when they are introduced to male chastity, which can be a masculinity that goes to extreem methods so not to take sexual advantage of woman, these women reject this healthy form of masculinity. People get conditioned to view brokenness as wholesome.

Its also possible I have no idea what I'm talking about.

The arrogance required to say such a thing is mind-boggling.

You're a farmer, right? I won't pretend to tell you about farming, because I respect what you do, and respect that you probably do it better than I ever could. (And I do grow crops for food, but not even enough to feed my own family. It is hard work. It is necessary work, and it's very respectable work. And I know I'm not very good at it.)

Similarly, I don't tell other people that their fight for equality is long since over, and everyone is equal. And you know why? Because I'm not them. I can't speak for them. And from what other people have shared with me, the fight for equal rights is not even close to being over. Please, have some respect for people who aren't you.

 

My comment is in reference to gender equality in our society. Sure you can pull in situations such as Iran, and come up with new genders and argue for them. But the rights that males and females share, when compared to history, are on par.
