Lube for base ring

I've found that baby oil gel by itself works well

I use Gold Bond ultimate lotion.

 

Vasaline works well for me. Sudacreme after shaving sometimes is good too.

 

Silicone lube cam melt thing made of Silicone and damage some plastics.

 

I use a good moisturiser, not a actual lube. Or a e45 type cream.

 

Yes, definitely baby oil!

 

It does get absorbed, but it keeps your skin smooth and supple so I get less irritation from the ring, but also it doesn’t move around as much. So it reduces discomfort for me.

 

I use Johnson's baby oil gel with cocoa butter. Once in the morning after showering and in the evening when I get home from work. The Cocoa butter also fends off potential odors

 

I was a long time proponent of silicone lube until recently. I stopped by Mr. S in San Francisco and asked them what they suggest. Coconut oil. It’s odorless, bio degradable, and most importantly does not get sticky like silicone as it dries.

I can’t believe it took me so long to find this out, but it’s been a game changer for me when it comes to long term wear.

 

I use hand lotion and if needed A&D ointment if any chafing is involved

 

hm, silicone doesn't get sticky at all for me as it dries. it makes the area slick-but-dry, like teflon. I use Swiss Navy lube or similar.

but Mr S is a pretty reputable shop, and i'm sure coconut oil works great !

 

Vasoline also helps soften scrotum for stretching

 

Pure Shea butter. Thick and organic. It stays a while before absorbing into your skin.
