    Hello from a lurker, newbie posting :)

    I'm aware that this book is a bit controversial, but I'm trying to find the widest possible breadth of reading material to present to my wife, and I just want to try this one as well. I tried to buy it and her site checkout doesn't work. I can't find it on Amazon. Unsure what else to do! If anyone knows or happens to have a copy, it would be much appreciated.

    Sarah used to be a member here, a looong time ago. She started out with a great no-nonsense take on chastity, but sadly it seems that it became only a money-making scheme for her. She's been off the grid for years. I would remind you that her book is copyrighted and trying to obtain a copy for free may not be possible.

    I think it used to be available from her website for maybe 60 dollars or something? It's nothing special. Certainly not worth that amount. I can't seem to find it any more, which is probably for the best.

    I sued to have frequent correspondence with Sarah, and sometimes with John (at least, with characters purporting to be those two). I have an advance copy of her book which I read through for feedback before publishing.

    My personal opinion was that they were asking too much money for it. Their reasoning was that one would get the book, plus a couple of follow-up books, plus access to an otherwise private email newsletter.

    Unfortunately, all of that fell apart rather quickly.

    I liked Sarah's book because it was aimed at newb, vanilla women. It was straight forward, and didn't get into the fantasy wank material that you generally see espoused by the men.

    Probably the next best book would be the Lucy Fairbourne one. Mistresses Ivey also has a decent book, however she does touch on BDSM and cuckolding, which may not be what totally vanilla wives want to read about.

    That said, a book that's not specifically chas[ity, but offers some good perspectives is "When someone you love is kinky" by Janet Green and Dosie Easton. That one was very helpful for Mrs Edge.

    Huh. She’s updated the copyright date on her site, but the page through which folks could try contacting her has a broken form ... so one can’t email her to let her know that her buying link is broken. :confused::rolleyes:

    On the off chance that I may have been able to reach the author (I replied to her mailing list email address - thank goodness for gmail), what is the exact problem you’re having? What’s the URL where the issue happens? Can you upload any screenshots - preferably with your personal information blurred or covered?

    It may not be your email address that's the issue. PayPal is remarkably conservative in what people can purchase through their system, and her content / account may have been flagged for violating their standards. Or maybe they just got too many bounces from whatever address she's using.

    Granted, I'm guessing at this point.

    Yeah, from my research that error is not an error with my email address but with hers, meaning the address is rejected or suspended, etc., on the payment processing side.

    Hello,

    From your post I couldn't read if she already knows what is interesting you (FLR or maybe less general chastity).
    If she doesn't be careful how you approach her.
    Keep in mind that you have (very likely) read a lot about the topic and she might feel overwhelmed.
    Take you time and let her enough space so that she can learn it at her speed.
    I had lots of discussions and we chatted a lot and finally started to read "uniquely Rika" together.
    I think it is the best book regarding FLR I have read so far.
    Most other included parts which sounded more like a femdom fantasy for males and not something which puts the woman in the first place.
    I have been a newbie ~6 month ago and I have now the greatest relationship I can image.
    This includes chastity at her terms (of course).
    Give her some time and you might find yourself in a totally other position very soon. ;)

    Since I've yet to get a reply to my email fro March, I followed up on this checked her website. While there are still recent posts, the latest entry from was July 30th, it appears that her blog has been taken over by someone else. The topic is most certainly not male chastity, and several of the recent entries don't even have titles.

    I think that she's either abandoned the site, or got locked out of it.

    Short of contacting her and asking for details, I don't know how you'd find out.

    On the good side, that issue seems to have gotten solved. The pricing for all of her books seems far more reasonable now, and purchases look like they're all going through Amazon.
