My wife isn't exactly participatory in my chastity endeavours. For the most part, it's me being self locked, and I'm having one of those "why the heck am I doing this?" nights. It doesn't help that tonight was supposed to be a caning as part of a weight loss plan she said she'd help with. I didn't bring it up because I was curious if she'd remember and she didn't. I unlocked before my shower (largely to clean and shave better), and she didn't even mention it. So for those doing the self locking thing, how do you stay motivated? I'm really having a 'forget it' night, but I still enjoy the denial; even if it is self denial. I may wind up getting an Emlalock account at this rate.
yeah im in the same boat kinda. I know its tough. I have those thoughts all the time. All I can say is have a game plan. Set a goal and try and stick with it. Masturbation isnt going to solve anything anyway lol.
Only way to motivate yourself is keep the key inaccessible to you You can dump it in your friend's car or at his home, where even he would not find it So far as you have the key with you, you are going to unlock yourself frequently
You could always pop it in an envelope with a note explaining your actions and your address and tie it to a party balloon. Take it outside, let go of it and watch it turn into a dot in the sky. Sorry in advance for boring any senior members but that balloon is part of one of my oldest fantasies.
Self locking is difficult especially if key is too close. Try to stay accountable by setting realistic goals and posting about them here.
I love the idea @Mascara^Snake (just not with my keys). As for advice on self locking; I've never had much luck but maybe that's because the keys were too close to hand. Try to get them far enough away that it takes some effort to get hold of them. How you do that is up to you; leave with a friend, bury in the woods whatever floats your boat.

Use a lock that has multiple keys. See how many (if any) you get back. At least then the odds are better you'll get at least one returned to you.
I have just seen the idea of the balloon now I can't stop thinking about it that would be amazing watching it fly off. Then waiting for knock on door if someone finds it
Thanks all. I actually kind of reminded her about the caning bit tonight, but it went largely unacknowledged. To be fair, though, she's been fighting a cold and some hip pain, so anything mildly erotic is likely far from her mind at the moment. Maybe I'll lock the key in glass and relock this weekend. I'm selling my adult items at an event this weekend so I may stay cage free through the weekend just so I can make it to the loo and back quicker.
