    I realize this is a board to mostly discuss MALE submission, however I am curious on what people's impression is with the movie 50 Shades Of Gray and the way it helps bring kink lifestyle more into the mainstream.

    I am a submissive married male. After the movie my wife confessed to me that she would like to try being dominated sometime. So, I'm thinking about trying switching.

    What are your thoughts on the movie?

    Haven't seen the movie, we're waiting for the DVD. My wife read the books and they opened the doors of the D/s lifestyle for her and she understands me MUCH MUCH MUCH better now.
    For years in our marriage she didn't understand me, heck, I didn't understand myself.
    It's all come together, were having a blast and were closer than we ever have been.

    We have switched roles so to speak a few times but I am still locked in my device. She likes being under my control for sex play every now and then.     I have read the books and seen the movie. I like the idea of being submissive but not emotionally hurt. I will admit that when I saw the movie what was going on made me excited.

    Have read the book and seen the movie. Still, to switch requires a whole change of mindset, from submissive to dominant and, for me at least, I am so submissive, that I could not think of being in control of another person. I love to give up control, not to get more! Just my personal opinion.
