I have been interested in chastity for a long time but have had nothing but trouble in my experiences. I've bought about 4 chastity cages trying to get one to fit. The last one I tried was the CB-3000, which could barely fit if I lubed it up well, but after wearing it for 3 days, my dick got really sore and I couldn't get hard for about a week.

I'm still not giving up as this is important to me, but I'm told that my cage shouldn't have to be lubed to fit. I've also heard from many places that a custom made metal cage will be more comfortable for long term wear, and I'm really concerned about it not fitting, particularly the single-piece metal ring.

I have to admit, I don't understand for the life of me how single piece rings work. I had to buy the large and extra large rights for my CB-3000. They are two piece rings. I put them on by sliding my sack and then my dick through the opening in the ring. I can fit the large on if I squeeze it enough, but the thing I don't like about it is that it will slide down my balls, and I can't slide it back up without unlocking my cage.

So, I've taken the extra-large ring, while wearing it, with the back of the ring fully assembled. I figured getting it off must be easier getting it on, and if I can get this ring off while it's assembled, then I'd think I could wear a single-piece ring. But I couldn't get it off. I tried and tried and I could not get it around my dick and one ball to save my life.

I don't even understand the concept of a single-piece ring, because if you can slide it around your junk, then can't it also slide off while you're wearing it?

I've looked at custom cage makers and from what I can tell, they all have single piece rings. Are there any custom metal cage makers who use two piece rings? I don't like how they're always pinching my hair or skin, but at least I can get them on.

I would love to be locked up indefinitely but I'm really stuck. I can wear by CB-3000 for short bursts, but I really want something I can wear to bed and all day long.

With single rings, you have to put one ball through first, then the other, then your penis. But you will always have to put on in the same order, so you need to figure out if you have to go left ball first or right ball first.
If you can get on with a solid ring using this method, then I’d recommend cherry keeper, I’ve always found the cb3000/6000 to be just to narrow for me.

Check out " mature metal " they make custom cages. I have the jailbird and love it! They can customize it so you'll be locked up as comfortably as possible!

In my case it's left nut, right nut then my junk. It looks intimidating at first to squeeze thru but after first few times it's almost second nature now.

You do not want a 2 piece ring. They are terribly uncomfortable. It will take time to get sizing right- just 1-2mm will take something from comfortable to un and vice versa. Use the cheap cages you see on Ali or Amazon to test sizes. Most guys have one nut larger than the other. I have found the ring should be tight enough that you can only do your large first and then the small and then your penis. This will be infinitely easier in the shower, especially with soap (I have an open metal cage so washing off and drying is a breeze). You need to pull as much skin as you can through the ring for the first nut then gently nudge it from behind into the ring, pull more skin and repeat. If you aren't doing it in the shower a little lotion (such as Aveeno) helps get the penis through. The cage should be slightly smaller than your flaccid length and just snug width wise (you shouldn't have play but also not be compacted at all). If you experience pain or discomfort it could either be the gap between ring and cage or the ring is too small. If you get a ball pop (with a metal cage) then the ring is too large or the gap is too big. Patience is key...

What keeps the cage from sliding off is that your balls get trapped between the cage and the base ring. That is why most cages are referred to as "ball trap devices".

The gap size is important. If the gap is too large, then the cage can slide off. If the gap is too small, then you will get a burning sensation, especially with morning wood.
