Seems odd to go through this discussion when one of the posters has a 'VERIFIED FEMALE' logo on a site that is run and owned by a lady, just sayin'. Sometimes words mean things, sometimes they don't.

 

I do not believe that women are superior to men. All I care about is that my sub-hubby knows that I am in charge and that he obeys my orders!

 

Still deflecting my point by pointing out an exception to the rule. I would appreciate responses to my point instead.

I went and reread your post about how you prefer to be called. I can see you have a preference, and I respect that. Most of us men here are submissive to our ladies, but we are not your submissives. As such, we all hear you, we respect you, and some of us (like me) think as a lady you deserve special respect. That doesn't mean we will magically agree to quit using the word 'female' because you post here, or that we even understand why you dislike the word. It comes across as petty and dismissive of our gender, so I think that is why you are getting resistance.

 

Dismissive of your entire gender to state my preference and give an explanation of why it is my preference? You don't seem to 'respect my preference' at all.

I think that's a very strange conclusion to make after reading my post. You are the only one resisting by the way and I was reacting to you, not to anyone else. Yeah, you are going on ignore.

 

No problem I realise most men probably don't even notice it, that's why I posted something about it. Even when I knew I'd probably be liked a little less by pointing this out.

 

So what are you doing here then? If things are not following the rules, please report the infraction.

I didn’t say rules were broken, merely that this thread is toxic, which it absolutely is. The above childish post of yours has added to its toxicity and done nothing to respond to an opinion.

You ask what I’m doing here. I come on this forum to read others’ ideas, fictions and opinions and sometimes (rarely)express them. I expressed mine on this thread because I feel strongly about it, and have maintained an interest in it.

What do you do? Apart from use the time old ‘why are you here then?’ response (yawn), ignore people and generally add to the toxicity of the thread?

I suggest you look up the definition of a ‘forum’. I actually agree with your original point that ‘women’ is a much more human term than ‘females’ which you might have clarified before your impulsive comment.

Yes Miss I agree, I found it to be borderline offensive from the first time I read it somewhere and had to stop and think for a second to be sure which way it was meant.
And this was before I even remembered that I recall from my vanilla youth that it had started as a disparagement. It was used in a diminishing and/or semi objectifying way. I didnt like it 40 years ago and I dont like it now.

I think the words we write defines the message and creates the respect being presented. There are many levels of chastity and activities. A couple creates it and maintains it that is respect.

 

Personally, I don't know "all" of the women here, so I can't say that they are superior, equal or less than men. I do know that in our case, our FLR started out as a way to improve our relationship. Over time it evolved. There are some things that my Queen is better at and some that I am better at. For our relationship to work, we had to figure out the rules and adapt (and continue to adapt). In our very personal relationship, she is my queen and holds power over many aspects of our relationship---and it is by mutual consent.
