I call almost all women ma’am because that’s how I was raised. But, ultimate respect goes to my keyholder/wife. She would not go well if I was to call another woman mistress or whatever

I guess I'm in the "all capital letters is yelling" camp. I capitalize a word for emphasis for online writing, which sometimes helps bring clarity to the thought I wish to convey or my point of view of it conveyance. Capitalizing the first letter of female related descriptions does offer a degree of distinction, especially if one writes something like "...it's Her control over his orgasms..." .

Although, I will say, my years of grammar STILL (capitalized for emphasis LOL) prevent me from using lower case "i" to refer to myself when writing. I think it, but I have old English teaches stuck in my brain trying hard to keep me from doing it! LOL

I agree, my madam finds it offensive if I capitalise in my texts to her.

No, not everyone in the Female Led Relationships sub-forum buys into the concept of female superiority, because that’s not the theme here. You’re literally posting this thread in the wrong sub-forum.

If you want more consensus, try the
Goddess worship and Female Superiority sub-forum instead.

Do you mean “Ma’am”, as in short for “Madam”, or something else?

If you really must assign the women here honorifics without each woman’s express permission, I suggest at least spelling the honorific correctly. In this case, it’s “Ma’am”.

    Not MAM.
    Not MAAM.
    Not even MA’AM.
    Just “Ma’am”.

If you consider them so superior and worthy of respect, I would think so. Otherwise you're the one unilaterally deciding what they should be called, and ... is that really our place?

Absolutely not. I don’t often comment but I think this point of view is wrong: women are not superior to men.

Some men are assholes, some women are too. It’s about the individual. Such blind dogma is unhelpful and unhealthy in my opinion.

Similarly, in my opinion the man isn’t a doormat, but has needs and feelings; there must be a two way give and take and both parties must want it. Others might think differently but I believe the OP wanted opinions.

Just my little pet peeve, but I don't like it when men call us 'females' in their writing online, because they often sound like they are talking about a different (non human) species when doing it.

'Do females like x' sounds very different to 'do women like x' to me.

Women rarely refer to ourselves as 'females' , but rather women, girls, or ladies. The only time one would use 'females' is in a biology essay.

I mean, pay attention to it. When women talk about men, they use the term 'men' not 'males'. It just has a different feel to it.

So if a guy wants to be respectful to me, he can call me madam, misstress, miss, or mylady .

There is one woman on this site that has used the word "males" in 193 different posts, but she's basically a misandrist, so maybe that doesn't count.
