I know I'm not the only one who loves a female front in rock, I just got into Halestorm recently. Lzzy Hale is the lead singer and god damn can she sing:

She spells her name that way if you were wondering....Fun fact, her brother is the drummer and they started the band in middle school

I’ve always had a crush on Joan Jett. I’d love to be dominated and humiliated by her.

I also have a crush on Pat Benetar.
And I had one on Ann Wilson of Heart in the 1980s. But still melt over her voice. Well all of them but that’s another story.

    she’s on AXSTV
She clearly looks older, but doesn’t look bad for her age. And I’d even go so far as to say she looks really good, but the crows feet make her look like she hasn’t taken as good care of herself as she should have,

I always found the two ladies of ABBA sexy as hell! Even at 71, Agnitha is a very handsome woman!
BTW ABBA is going to release 5 new songs soon. Their first new songs in over 30 years!

    I'll add one!

I've always liked the song I Can't Hear You by The Dead Weather...

It's sung by Alison Mosshart who is also the lead singer in The Kills.

PJ Harvey is a wonderful choice, she did a beautiful version of 'Hemry Lee' with Nick Cave, who is one of those guys who's been in the game so long everyone has heard his work but nobody seems to actually know him.

For ladies of rock, I always liked what Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs was doing. They pushed a lot of boundaries in alternative at the start of the new millennium, including accidentally starting a 5 year long pop trend with this little track

Halestorm, yep found on Spotify a year ago.

Evernesance as well, they're in me collection.

There's a few punk bands as well, such as Girl School (still around).

Another I remember from the 80s was Wendy James in Transvision Vamp.

    Doh! forgot....

Joanne Shaw Taylor - very distinct voice.
First song heard of her's was 'Get You Back' on Planet Rock. Ended up buying the album for my wife (vinyl of course).

Beth Hart as well - an amazing powerful voice.

Many of above I've hear of - but, woah, now have some new artists to listen to - good thread.

    Thank you.
