I got a PA a year ago. Didn't know that this was a option. I like the PA. There is also a sense of no return going this way. It's a experience to go through. Witch a liked. But you have to know what are the drawback of having it.

With my jailbird, I could pee standing, It was very useful like if I do outside work in the fall. Can pee somewhere without getting inside, unlace dirty boots, etc.

But it's impossible with a PA because of the mess everywhere. So, sometimes, this is unpleasant at first but I got used to it. Now I pee 100% seated.

 

Sourination is unhindered?
I think I like the sound of that. Not a fan of seating to pee 100% of the time. Especially if we make a life style of this

 

To the unrestricted erections, yes I essentially can and do have them since I’m in a Glans only device…however it’s almost more frustrating knowing I can’t “get off” despite having a full erection (believe me I’ve tried - vibe can do it, but so can it in a ball trap device), but the reality is that things get VERY sore if you try to play aggressively enough to get the right stimulation so it’s not worth it… again that’s my experience. Having a full on rock hard erection with a cage around the end of your cock isn’t always a pick if either…yes I don’t have the strain on the balls, but the fit of the cage is such that it’s pretty squeezed in there when fully erect and I “fill out” the cage in general. I think some don’t like the “permanence” of a piercing and to each their own. Once the piercing is stretched appropriately and safely, it won’t close up so it’s there “forever”, and I think some just don’t like that aspect.

 

But the post I was responding to said that the PA was a safer option than the teather spout.

Personally I think long term, and prob any urologist you ask, would say that a PA is safer. I know folks leave the TS in for relatively long term wear, but there’s always that chance. PAs are easy to get, fast to heal, and even if you don’t use it for chastity, it can enhance your sex life if you and your partner are into it. My wife loves having PIV with my jewelry in (when I’m allowed), as it (her words) “hits her just right”.

Everyone is different and everyone has to make their own determination as to what’s right for them.

About 6 months, I am waiting for a fully titanium one to show up from baddass. The metal from the tetherspout website is substandard, I had a spout made by Steelworx which is fine but the retainer is still from tetherspout and while a better metal than the spout. Pretty sure the tetherspout website guy is not really interested any more, there does not seem to be any stock left.

Mine is threaded its screws into the front of the steelheart 2, peeing standing up is no issue, but you do need to hold a bit of toilet paper up and give a bit of a shake to empty the spout.

See gallery for more if you want...but totally 100% no way to get out of it, easy to remove, little bit trickier to put in. Cant tell its there once I the sizing is right. Night time arousal much more comfortable than a full urethral insert (used a looker 2 for years with a full urethral insert).

Like others once my partner saw how quickly I could pull out of the steelheart she wanted the tether back in, even though i had devised a system where it was "tamper proof". Once perfected the tether is the way to go for security, but it can take some time to get it right. We also leave it in for sex, I made a stainless cap that goes on the front of it that restricts ejaculation, its either that or I wear a condom because she doesn't like the mess after a few weeks of being in chastity, then she lets me fully empty myself in the morning before locking back up.

From what I understand, “fast to heal” is a subjective judgment with which many would disagree.

 

Zero in my case, just like uncaged for cleaning. These removals have non play purposes thus no play takes place.

A couple of years ago I purchased one of Tetherspouts measuring devices so know my urethra size in FR dimensions. (33Fr or 10.89mm). For comfort reasons Tetherspouts website recommends going for one or two FR sizes smaller. Is this what other users have discovered? This seems counter to what would be the logical requirement for an object to be retained and give a good seal to the urethra or is this using the elliptical retainers in the set of three rather than the round one?

The problem I have is the compatibility with the one on Esty and Tetherspout retainers. Does anyone know the diameter of the Esty spout? Also the Esty retainers go up to 17mm equates to FR51 which is way of the scale of Tetherspouts largest measure so not sure of the sizing of the Esty retainers. One review states he had to revert to Tetherspouts retainers as the one ordered was too small and had to resize but doesn't say by how much.

 

I did wonder but thought by using the thinner end of the insertion tool it may work like Tetherspouts instructions.

Yes fully titanium now, and very happy with badass, they sent me two spouts with a thread and one without plus all of the retainers I asked for and then some.

In theory it can stay in there forever now, went up a size as well and still cant feel it
Had sex with it in the other day and it was far more comfortable being 5mm shorter spout than the previous one I had. I had the cap (screw one stainless cap that stops mess) on but there was no real need because my partner asked me not to orgasm. Its been 3 weeks now and a new record for me in that respect.

Yes I did pay for a custom Spout size and retainers.

I can actually thread titanium myself as I have a tap set. As part of this journey I cut down the original looker 2 urethral insert that was made of titanium and threaded it to fit into he front of the steelheart, it does make it so you can pull out but you cant get it back in. But my partner decided she likes the tether because I physically cant get out of it.

Note though it does need to be a high quality tap set, I had a cheapy and it wouldn't touch it.But with a real tap set it is not that hard to do, although hard to get it to start straight which is why I got them to do it.
