Why there aren't more women here:

I really don't understand that people have to be compelled to voice an opinion if they don't like how someone else lives their life....surely it is far better to keep quiet and say nothing rather then be unkind towards someone else.

Speaking ill of people who you don't really know does you no favours, making what is most likely an ill informed judgment just shows how shallow you are in wanting to judge someone on such little information.

It would be far nicer if we just held our cruel comments to ourselves......

I just want to throw my 2 cents on the whole "why aren't there more women here?" question.

I agree on some level that there are things that we could do to make this site a bit more tasteful to women. And to me there is not much that should change with content of posts. I think if there's an issue with where stories are posted and what new people are exposed to, then maybe we put some posts in a different room. And maybe we even say something like "viewer discretion is advised" lol

For PMs maybe we make it so by default PMs are turned off and we can turn them on both on an individual basis (like an exceptions list) or on a global basis (accepting pms from all). That would allow people to filter out the dick pics. And horny guys.

I will say that I do think that trying to enforce rules or etiquette without making those rules clear is a recipe for disaster. It makes people feel alienated and like there is something wrong with what they did when in fact there was NO WAY they could have known it wasn't allowed if it wasn't in some way documented and presented to them. Some of those rules we know from everyday life in society, but others we will need written down if that's the path that we decide to go down. But too many rules can be dangerous.

I also won't say that the complaints about what women find here are invalid or anything, but I am nervous about making certain changes, which I think we all should be. We often don't realize that certain changes have cascading effects. Things that we think we want end up ruining something somewhere else. I don't know what the general direction the mansion wants to move in is, but I will say that whatever it is we should all be cognizant of the fact that very often when one door opens another door closes. If the rules start to feel (key word because reality rarely factors into emotional decisions) too oppressive, then we may end up in a situation where most of the members either leave and go inactive.

Like I said, I'm just some guy, but I do love coming here and reading and would hate to see this site essentially die like Chastity Lifestyle did.

I really dislike this grouping as all together crap.
I came to this site with my husband becuase chastity was something EXTREMELY new to us.
