Who tried the new HTv5 ?

I haven’t but it looks pretty cool.

 

I am locked in the HTv5 24/7 since we recieved it 4 weeks ago. It is very comfy and I fotget that it is there. My wife (KH) loves the new locking system, she just pushes the button and it is locked.

 

I have one love the locking system but got stung with import taxes very heavily which made the device quite expensive
How ever I love it

 

As far as I can tell the only difference is the locking system on the tube and ring.

 

I am currently traveling locked in the v5 nano. I have the nub too. I like them both and switch when I clean to give some extra playroom. Both are very comfortable. I was using the v4 and always fought with the locking mechanism. V5 is so much easier!

 

I had the HT Small v3 with the 50mm ring for a number of years. I wore it continuously without issues. Unfortunately, the ring broke when I bent down one day.

To replace it, I got the latest and greatest HT Nano v5. I like how the tube fits my length better and we both love how it looks. She also likes the locking mechanism - no more fumbling and the key looks more normal on her key ring. She still wishes it wasn't stamped with the brand - screaming for anyone who sees it to Google it.
Unfortunately, I can't fairly compare my v3 small tube to the v5 Nano tube for you because they aren't the same size, but they seem largely the same - except how it attaches to the ring.

My concern is the ring size. I ordered the same size ring as I previously had and it seems too tight. My wife took me out because it was causing coloring issues and it was not comfortable. The rings between the v3 and v5 are very different in shape. I've ordered the largest size ring, which is arriving today. We'll see if it helps.

Has anybody else had issues with ring sizes or maybe experience the same between the v3 and v5 rings?

 

Are you traveling by air? If so, what has been your experience through security?
I am fearful of the metal detectors in the airport.

 

Catching up on older posts…I agree completely! I had the v4 and 5. V5 is even better! Huge fan of the nub.

 

I had to go up a size on the v5. Now it’s perfect.

 

I just got mine. The 55 ring till seems tight but the lock is easy to work with just slide and push and it clicks right in.

I find the tube inner dimension of the small too narrow, might go up the the maxi as that’s the only one with a bigger internal dimension.

 

My wife keeps me in the v4 pink small tube with 40mm ring but we also have a 36mm ring too which is the smallest and the one I had to use on all other devices. Also, you’re right, the ring does seem to fit more snug on this model than ones in the past.

 

My feeling of using the HT V5 compared to the HT V4
1. appearance, material, color, HT V5 and HT V4 are almost the same, HT V5 is a little better
2. Stability, fit, HT V5 is a little better, the ring and cage are more compatible, more stable
3. Comfort, HT V5 and HT V4 are more or less the same
4. Unlocking method, HT V5 is easier and more convenient than HT V4
Currently using the HT V5 experience good, the only drawback is afraid of using a long time whether the lock key will not work and create problems.

Super excited for the v5. I'm moderatly good at picking locks, however cannot pick that type of lock! Not that I escape, it just feels like pretend when I know I could get out in almost literally two seconds.

 

Yes!!! We noticed a huge difference with ring sizes. My hubby always wore a 36mm ring with small cage on all earlier models but on v4 the 36mm was way too tight so we ended up with a 45mm ring on the small cage. I don’t know if it’s the shape or what it is.

 

I have been in a V5-Nano knock-off for two weeks now. My big this is that the fork of the ring does not spread like all previous versions, creating a lot of slack side-to-side and a possibility of the lock coming out of the channel. Other than sanding mold lines down before wearing, which is a standard process... I am satisfied with it.

 

Anyone have pics of themselves in the v5 ? Love to see and compare the different sizes

 

I have a pic in my collection where I’m wearing my knockoff Ht v5 nub… it’s amazing , I love this thing… very comfy and the locking mechanism is infinitely better than anything before it IMO

 

I have HT v4 and it's very tight after a day or so even with the largest base ring (tried nub, small, and standard size tubes).

 

My biggest issue is my balls! High and tight like my jeans (+1 to anyone who gets my reference)

the v4 and v5 have a ridge in the ring that make mine sit very firmly ‘ in front of’ the cage but my v5 seems to be far more comfy with a larger dip at the base…it’s a subtle difference but it’s a big deal!

 

I love the H/T. I have 3 of them. Two are H/T V4. One red and one blue. I'm now caged in the new H/T V5. It's in stainless steel and it's very comfortable. I use the 50 mm ring and have no problems. It's the small tube. My Mistress says Mistress property will be caged in it permanently.

 

Locked in an official HTv5 nub in black. Locking system is great. 50mm ring is perfect for me. Tested a few knockoffs before investing in a real HT. Worth the investment. No sharp edges and quality is much better.
