Who likes to cook for Her?

I probably cook 50-75% of the time, but thats more a function of me being home first and starting to prepare evening meal for the family, I wouldn't say its specifically a meal "for my KH".

 

My ex was a horrible cook. I’m decent. So I did all of the cooking.

steaks, chicken, pork, pasta, breads, veggies, are the core. I’ve also been known to try different recipes. So for special occasions it just depends of what I find and what I think would be appreciated.

 

I cook and bake very often. But my wife and I also like to cook together and try new stuff.
She likes it when I only wear my cage and an apron.

 

I like to but I have to admit I 'm not that good at it

It is one of the first things she does, send me cooking, once back from work I do her cooking and in the weekend I do also breakfeast and any collation she desire.

 

I do 90% of the cooking. I just tend to make stuff up depending on whats in the fridge. Last nights dish was....

Spring onion (chopped)
Mushroom (thin slices)
Onion (diced)
Yellow pepper (julienned)
Garlic (minced)
Salami + ham (thin ribbons)
Cherry tomatoes (halved)

Put that lot in a roasting tin in a hot oven drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Then
Chop up the green end of some spring onion and mix it into some soured cream add salt, pepper, lemon juice, a tiny amount of hot sauce. Put the soured cream mix back in the fridge.

Once the veg mix is about 1/3 the starting volume it should be about ready. Now the bread.

Take some thin slices of bread and rub with garlic and olive oil and sprinkle in a little cheese and roast.

Once the bread has roasted cut into strips however you like arrange on a large plate with a bowl of the veg mix and a bowl of the soured cream mix.

The bread could be switched out for tachos or nachos if you dont like gluten.
The meat can be switch for whatever you have or be omitted completly its up to you.
I do tend to do a lot of one pot cooking. One of my personal favourites its hot and sour noodles. I get a great deal of pleasure serving my princess good food.

I do most of the cooking in our house, but it’s primarily because I enjoy it. My wife is not a good cook, and does not enjoy cooking much at all, so it works out. It’s not any sort of subservience; just how the division of responsibilities fell out. I also bake, and have a nice kamado grill outside I get a lot of use out of. Luckily, my wife genuinely likes my cooking.

As I have noted elsewhere here, the days I am Barbara AND cooking a nice dinner for us are some of my most fulfilling and happy days. That is usually Sunday currently because of our work schedule, and there is no better way for me to be ready for a new week than spending the whole day being Barbara, cleaning house, cooking dinner, and spending the evening with my wife.

 

Cooking, grocery shopping and making any to go lunches, are all my responsibilities. My wife and I split the household chores when her daughters were young as a way to sharing duties. Now that they are adults, i still do all the food chores as well as many if not most of the cleaning and laundry. Even though she is not my KH and we don't have a formal FLM, my submissive nature led me to take on these tasks. Favorite meals include a variety of Cajun dishes, some Italian meals, grilling meats, but mostly simple everyday meals. Some times the daughters offer to do the dishes, but normally i clean up as well.

 

Sunday morning breakfast is the only thing I do for Mrs Chaste. Every Sunday. She does enjoy it!

 

My wife is a good cook. I clean up the mess.

Only time I cook is breakfast while she sleeps in.

 

I cook most of the time anyway before this dynamic was introduced to the relationship... HOWEVER, I feel if I was bad at it, maybe I would be forced to just cook for myself, lol.

 

I look to cook for my mistress as well and really make things fancy when I can. It’s been a while since I’ve put something really nice together. I also make a killer steak and shrimp but my specialty is Italian. She really likes when I make my baked ziti or even just a red sauce with pasta. Everything is always made from scratch, no bottled sauce in our kitchen

 

Trouble is I'm a bit of a heathen when it comes to food! My tastes are somewhat "child like" I suppose and I lack imagination for such things! Coupled with the fact that I don't actually "enjoy" eating that much it's just fuel to me. And also Mrs Chaste is much better at it than me!

 

I love to cook for her.

As we are building our FLR, I have learned that she doesn’t always want me to do everything. She enjoys cooking and is an excellent cook. So I tend to do all happy hours, cleanup, and cooking leftovers. I also am learning pasta recipes and can make fresh pasta. I am very good on the BBQ, and just bought a smoker.

So we are finding a balance that works for her and I am enjoying learning new dishes.

 

Since our FLR began, 2 years ago, I have cooked 100% of our meals. In addition I now do all of the household cleaning, laundry, and outdoor work. Oddly, my Princess, still does the shopping...

 

I've done 99% of all the cooking for the past 14 years. I've been the stay at home parent and I'm a better cook so it just made sense. My wife cooks when I'm not home: weekend mornings, if I'm gone on a trip, etc.

 

i get by sufficiently well cooking for myself and have no complaints from anyone I 've subjected to it including my Lady

But I enjoy doing anything for her even if I don't actually enjoy WHAT I did.

 

My wife and I both love to cook, so we take it in turns depending on who is home first from work.
While we're love-birds in every other sense, we find it impossible to work together in the kitchen,
I have to keep it clean as I go, she creates a mess and cleans up afterwards!
But then that's not a bad thing, as even when we cook the same thing, whether it's a spaghetti bolognaise or an apple pie, our recipes and styles are quite different, so between us we have a good variety of meals. We're definitely a "live to eat" couple.

 

My KH likes to be involved in the planning of our meals. Every week I put together a list of candidate recipes and over the weekend we plan out together what we going to eat the following week. One thing I really like about this arrangement it is gives me lots of opportunities to show how carefully I remember her tastes and preferences. I know she appreciates this.

 

I’m not a creative cook but, I cook most of the time along with most of the domestic chores.

 

Its a 50-50 split. If its stove-top or oven, she does the cooking and I just help out. Any grilling, she does the prep and I do the cooking. She like to do the prep and spices and have a knack for taste. Cleanup is usually done together unless its agreed on ahead of time like when a GF comes over and they are playing that night. Then I will act as the butler and serve them and do the cleanup.

 

There's a third person who visits our kitchen, we know him/her as the "dish fairy".

Whoever has been cooking, this mysterious being flits through unseen, and when you next go into the kitchen you discover that all the dishes have been washed. My keyholder thinks it's wonderful having a dish fairy in the house.
