I'm not new here, but I'm not a heavy user, so my opinions are relatively irrelevant. However, I'm not a huge fan of the splitting of the forums. If there are only a handful of new threads a day, is it necessary to split them so? I spend most of my time on CM jumping from each page, instead of just seeing all the new threads in one or two concise pages.
I hope you don't mind me saying so, Goddess.

Are you aware you can click on "what's new" at the top? You can see all threads that have been started or commented on recently.

    Moderator or admin?

    If an Admin
I'd adjust the edit time limit to something between 5 and 10 minutes. I'd start at 10 and go do if needed.
I'd also have a backup or two so others could do admin tasks if I wasn't available.

I'm not sure much change is needed by moderators. Just to be sure they keep things professional and do their best to not have issues with the users.

Maybe share some of the things behind the scenes that might be of interest to the users if any.

I was talking about moderating really. For instance, people complain if a moderator deletes or post or comment to stop an argument, but also people complain about arguments.

People will complain about anything. Some is justified some isn't.

There's a fine line between debate and arguing

There are also a wide range of issues with deleting posts. Ranging I got from clear and justified to totally unjustified and wrong. I'd hope and suspect that most here are the former and few to noe the latter. That said in the middle or later is where the loudest complaints will normally come from.

I think all of you moderators do a really good job of trying to keep everyone in line and be helpful at the same time especially since it's all volunteer and no one is getting paid. I'm not really sure what improvements could be made to regulate conversations.

If it was possible instead of "deleting" a post I would leave the post in place and "edit" it so that there is continuity of the threads ... even if everything is erased that they typed and replaced with the word ... EDITED

Firstly big respect to all of the moderator team for giving their time to run this site.

For me it's about encouraging people to get involved either to reply, join in or just like a post so people keek coming back.

I don't know what the website need but it need updating. My only thought is that pictures are always new what about images that are temporary and only last for 30 minutes??.

Maybe I'm missing something but it seems moderators are limited in what they can do. If I am please enlighten me on what I'm missing.

If I'm not, it seems that administrative changes might have more impact. So the bigger question of what changes to the site as a whole seem more interesting to me. Above I said having additional admins would be good.

The site has had several design changes, color changes, and some minor forum changes. Is it time for a bigger change? If so why? And what would it achieve?

The policy on avatars was made to make the site more "female friendly". I'm not sure the change will achieve that but I agree getting more women here and getting them to stay and get involved would be a great thing.

To achieve that I don't think minor changes are going to be enough. I don't have the answers but I think more female friendly content (whatever that may be - I'm male so I have no clue) is a must. Some sort of redesign that's more appealing to women. Again im not sure what it would be. Maybe forums, maybe graphics, but it also has to be something that doesn't drive away male members by being too feminine. So while I'm throwing idea realize I'm not criticizing or advocating anything just trying to brainstorm and offer ideas

This is a trick question, right? Lana's sissy pet would do whatever Mistress Lucy told her to do :)

I have been thinking about this for a while and I cannot say I have managed to come up with an answer. I don't think I would make a good moderator for this particular forum as I find it incredibly difficult to remain unbiased when it comes to having heated discussions about the various forms of chastity members of the Mansion use.(Sat in her private room, @Mistress Lucy makes a face, perhaps it is a wry grin, perhaps not, and thinks 'ain't that the truth!'.) I also find myself struggling to keep quiet when reading ridiculous over the top fantasy as truth posts.

I would find it difficult not to rename any thread that has been started with the word 'So....' I don't know why but when anyone starts that way it makes me doubt the truth of the situation that follows. I would probably do some spell checking as well, for instance changing the word cloths when the person posting clearly meant clothes.

One thing I think is missing is the moderator team tend to be fairly quiet about their own use of chastity. Either as the dominant keyholder or the chastened male. That is a real shame. It has been fascinating to read some of the more recent threads started by the moderators, such as this one, and a more detailed journal would put a more round voice to the people who look after us.

Is it possible for the moderators to direct people who register as women to some of the friendly posts in the bar section? For example, the "Tell us something interesting about your life" thread.

Try using ... https://www.chastitymansion.com/forums/index.php?find-new/posts ... as the link ... if you use a link with a number in it that number represents "time" in the database so it will keep taking you back to that time ....

I personally always use the ... https://www.chastitymansion.com/forums/index.php?find-new/posts&recent=1 ... link so I can see all posts listed in newest to oldest order but it shows the posts I've read already ... makes it real easy to keep track

If I was able to change things, bearing in mind I use the new posts, I would love an option to either "mark as read" or "ignore this thread" option. I really have no interest in some threads but have to open them to get them off the list.

Please don't change the way you make people aware of violating the rules. I'm a member of many boards (most of the boring nerd stuff) and (unintentional) violations are usually followed up with a rude message. Your message was the most effective (and respectful) correction I ever had.

Have you ever thought about adding a " Dis Like " option. the reason I say this is some people post things that are very disturbing and by commenting on it were continuing to feed the disturbing issue. Just a thought.

Hello @Mash2214 yes a thought , and a very good one , there are things posted at times although not often that do cross the line , and as you say commenting even if in disagreement does still fuel and add to the original post , a simple " dis like " option would be much better , and would show not only a " dis like " of the post but would not add anything to it for further comment , A+ and then some idea
