    Hi guys,

I am very close to finally getting a PA and a Lori's tube. Since I am a grower and uncut, I prefer the testie ring devices. I spoke with Ms Lori, and the only thing I am wondering right now is, what gauge do you guys use with a device like this where the weight is not being held by piercing? I am torn between 6ga and 8ga....

I'm planning to order an 8a - the tube only version - and Lori said 6ga is good and 4ga is better. I'm at 6ga, it is not all that much bigger than 8ga, and I think the extra surface area is always a good idea. Even if the device is not hanging on the pin I think that as you grow and shrink pressure will be put on the pin. Could be quite a bit of pressure.

Laurie also said that she could make me two pins, one at 6ga and one at 4ga. I'll probably go with that option. Right now my jewelry is 6ga and I'm in a 6ga evotion device.

If you are torn between 6ga and 8ga, definitely go with 6ga. Even if the device is going to be held by a testie ring, the larger gauge will likely be more comfortable. I plan to get my PA pierced at 6ga.

I agree. the larger the guage the better. Wearing a device with my PA wasnt completely comfortable until I reached a 2 guage.

I have a 5B on order from Ms. Lori. It will have a 2ga PA pin. I will be getting a 6ga PA to start, and will have to stretch a couple of sizes to be able to wear it.

Wow! 6ga to start is an ambitious undertaking. Good luck and enjoy your Lori

6ga is the largest that my piercer would do. Actually, it will be an 8ga needle for the piercing, but 6ga jewelry will be placed in the piercing. This is supposed to cut down on the bleeding afterward. I've also read that it is best to start out a piercing as close to the final size you want as possible, but there is no way a 2ga needle is going near my dick.

Thanks for the replies guys! The minimum size for a PA my piercer does is 8Ga, so I will try to do the 8GA with 6GA insert thing too. A 2GA piercing directly is not a needle, it's a stabbing by a sword :D

That should work doing it that way. The tissue in a PA is able to give a little and allow for 6 ga. I would let the piercing rest for some heal time then stretch to larger gauge as piercer suggests. OR you could get 2 ga right from the beginning and have the experience of a lifetime. LOL. PS. I have a Lori#5 for sale if anyone interested.

her pins are tapered. If you have a 6 gauge ring, a 4 pin from her will glide right in. (in my expierence.)
