    I got pierced about 18 months ago and am currently a 6 gauge / 4mm.

    I am interested to know your advice on minimum gauge before getting a PA device. I assume weight of device can tug so a lower gauge would be better ideally.

    I would not go for less than 6 due to migration. I also would not go way larger due to the added weight. From what I have heard PAs are the only piercing loosening on their own anyway - and you do not have to incease that by added weight. ;)
