What do you consider "long term"?

A year or more without orgasms

 

For most guys, I'd suggest that long term starts around 3 months, no orgasm. This is almost, but not quite, completely arbitrary on my part; years of reading various forums suggest to me that most guys can last a few weeks without an orgasm, but after two months there's a lot of self control involved. Three months is a mental milestone of 90 days, or if you're decimally inclined, 100 days. And for most guys, three months is a realistic time period - it's one season in New England, for example. It could lead to 4 orgasms per year, which is a good goal to look forward to. My own experience is that after two months, I'll have some kind of emission in my cage, anyhow.

Going a full year takes some pretty serious dedication, and may not be reasonable for a lot of guys new at this. Doctor's visits, flights, medical procedures, jury duty, high risk or high security jobs could potentially lead to needing to remove the device, providing opportunity for temptation.

i don’t think there are many wrong answers. first time i have been locked for months, it was long term compared to longest i had been by then, weeks.

now my fate is eternal chastity, since four months. i know that technically i will have very short breaks for taking the plane (not often), but eternal denial of orgasms will forever stand. that is long term, i think...

Eternal denial and permanent. Great thoughts. Either one of those would be long term enough. I am on the same road. I am just really into being locked. Eternity is great, it never comes. I'm in for the long haul.

I couldn’t imagine the idea of not having an orgasm for a significant period of time. I just prefer having little control of when it happens.

 

My record is only 6 days! My keyholder and I are both new to this game and enjoying it a lot! She even ordered me a new cage that she spied on the internet! She has hinted several times I need to break my record! She suggested going in "baby steps" ! I agreed to one day in the new cage to try it out, and she wants to double each lock up! Basically 1 then 2 4 6 8 ..who do we appreciate! Haven't quite done the math but it'll add up quick! Gosh I love her!

 

Baby steps are good; but doubling up each lock after 16 might be too much for a newbie.

 

Long term chastity ... it rather depends what you mean by chastity.

kept mostly or totally denied
your time out of the device (if there is one) and reasons for that time out are all decided by your KH
the when and how of your releases are decided and controlled by your KH
you are locked with maintenance time out and sometimes stimulation or even some sexual activity
you are locked and never allowed out for anything.. with exceptions.. medical for example

its a vague term and probably has different meaning to everyone here even within a relationship
even the dictionarys don't totally agree.

 

Doubling isn't adding, it's multiplying. Here's how many days you'd be locked up by doubling just 12 times.
2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192.

Note that you'd probably be dead before you got to the end.

"Long term" is when your current session is longer than any of your previous ones!

 

We started like that. It's what changed us from being "occasional weekenders" to "chastity lifestyle". The program only lasted as far as the 3 month session that year, life got in the way, but we're back on track and not following any specific plan, except that each major lockup I'm getting now tends to be longer than the last.

If I'm lucky this year, I might get to have 8-10 orgasms. I have done 30+ days a few times so far. We just started last August. I'm locked 90% of the time. Only let out for the Doctors and maybe some heavy yard work. My Wife(KH) tells me, "you just did 20 days"..."We are going to do 30 this time", and so on. So. I'm not locked 100% of the time, but my Wife has told me to get use to being in a cage , it is now our lifestyle. She loves having control of my orgasms, and once the cage gets locked on, I really don't have much choice on when I cum or if I cum. We are 5 months into this year and I have been allowed 4 ruined orgasms, 3 by having to masturbate for my Wife and one by her giving me oral(Which I use to love). She loves teasing me to the edge, then stopping and making me finish off by myself.

 

I'm curious if this means locked? Or orgasm denial? I don't think I've ever been locked for more than 2 weeks. Besides being let out to shave I am let out for a variety of actions, most common being sailing. The longest I was ever denied any form of orgasm was 4 months. Currently we seem to be on a one or two month cycle. Sometimes long-term feels like it happens right away. Sometimes I'm happier with being denied and actually fear my orgasm and the post orgasm let down. I guess I'd vote for long-term is twice as long as your last one until you hit the two month mark. I think if you're going two months at a pop without an orgasm you've earned the right to say long-term. For those that stay locked that whole time, my hats off to you.

 

That's probably about right. My beautiful wife/KH and I believe I am locked long-term. I've been allowed one orgasm so far in 2019, and we both wish no changes to our relationship.

I am reliably informed by my Lady that when I have been locked and denied long term she will tell me, so clearly in her eyes I have not yet.

Which of course begs the obvious question... which is of course one of those I won't ask her.

That is a perfect "long term training" program, for a couple that is going on that journey together. It looks like it is not dictated strictly by the KH, but negotiated as a mutual challenge.

It is hard for me to imagine going three months, let along four. But I can imagine being in a relationship with longer stretches of chastity, recognizing the benefits during, and wanting to go further. And getting there eventually.

With the self-locking (mostly) the most I can contemplate is a month and even that is hard without a KH to please.
