I know that chastity cages come with different gap sizes between the base ring and the cage. I'm just wondering what difference it makes. Is it just a comfort thing? I don't really see how varying the gap adds to security! Perhaps I'm wrong, please enlighten me fellow chaste males! Or indeed females! Chaste or not, I don't mind!

For me is the cap beween the basering and the cage very important because the skin huts at the upperside Therefore I need more space ther. It had nothing to do with security, Just comfort.

The idea is to have a gap small enough so a testicle cannot sneak out (or forced out) but big enough as not to cause discomfort of restrict blood flow. If a person thinks the ball ring is too small they should first wear the ball ring without the cage and if it feels good like that the gap should be made larger and not change the size of the ring.

1/16th inch difference for me means my testicles will or will not pop out

This is my issue entirely. Find the right gap and the chastity will work as intended.

Too large a gap and security is compromised. Too small and the pain can be excruciating. Security is irrelevant without comfort.
