I haven't been to that other site in a very long time. Your thread and the discussion here got me curious so I went and took a look to see what all the excitement was about.

My own opinion is that you did nothing wrong. You posted a well written review of your experience and someone responded in a rude negative way. I may be out of line but the only thing that could have been taken as rude from you is the way you pointed out that using all caps is yelling and not polite. Now with that said, I don't feel that you were, but not everyone sees things the same way, so it's a possibility that someone did take things that way, and might have been jealous that you got to do something that they did (go to a facility, and actually live what you talk about). As others have pointed out, there are many fakes in the lifestyle, especially online. And as MM said, many of them won't come here as they would quickly be outed as phonies. So don't worry about what they think as they're just looking for little things to annoy those who are real. If they're offended it's not because you did something wrong, it's because you have something they don't - A LIFE, and a good one at that!

I know it's not much. But to me (and to many folks here) you are adored because of who you are, not because of your online persona. You're not afraid to show the real you, make public your flaws and struggles and you grow both as a person and as a Domme (and switch?). I might be out of line, but I don't recall seeing too many (any?) posts on that site that have done what you have. So while it's not my place to tell you what to do, or even to suggest anything, I will offer that your title of the thread says it all. Anyone who is rude to you, doesn't deserve your time, nor the energy of you worrying about what they think. Its too bad that people behave the way they do online as they are "protected" behind the safety of the Internet. I wonder how brave they'd be if they were in real life. My bet is that most wouldn't be brave enough to even go to a munch let alone a club or a party such as the fall gathering. So "fuck them" as you said. Just know that you're loved and adored here and that you run a great site and you're coming to Virginia to have a great time, one that they'll never imagine in a million years.

 

Well then, my turn to weigh in.
i feel like i know so many here better than anyone knows me, thanks to my long term lurking before signing up.
In my intro post i stated that their was a tangible difference in these two sites. i can see here that many others feel the same way.

i have found that if i ever wanted a "porn fix" that othet site was a good place to go.
This site feels comfortable and even comforting at times.
This i beleive is aas a result of a "top down" attitude.
(wow...top down...what a myriad of playful phrases can come from the English language)

Anyway, Mistress Watchfull you have always seemed very nice and encouraging to me. This is a large part of my joining here.
If not here, then where?

yep well AS the original long term lurker for this site .. it's about time i put my 2 cents in .. Ive stoped going to all the other site except this one, lol this IS the best chastity site on the net as far as im concerned

 

I don’t get what the debate is about. Who do these people think they are? Government ministers with reputations to loose? Even if lets say that there was an association with Ess and Ems and the people that set up Max Mosley it doesn’t concern the average person. I’m pretty sure if any normal person went there they wouldn’t be set up, one because we are not interesting, two because they wouldn’t make any money from the story and three because the alleged conspiracy is bollocks anyway. God damn people need to get lives.

Even if there was a small connection with this Mistress whoever and the dungeon I’d still go. If I had the money I’d be booking a stay tomorrow.
