Has anyone gone to a sports game and gone through metal detectors or hand wand locked. Does cage get detected?
I went through a cubs game, they have metal detector gates you walk through, and a guy with a wand if something goes off. My device is a lot of steel and nothing set anything off. If it would have I would have pulled him aside and told him I have body jewelry.
I’ve been to a couple of concerts where I set off a detector. Next step in the “security process” is a cursory wave of the hand wand, which may or may not go off, and then they’ll say something about your zipper or your pants button setting it off, and they wave you through. That’s been my experience so far, anyway, in a medium sized city, where I basically don’t stand out in any way. YMMV
D and I went on a holiday on aircraft some years back while I was locked in my Loris 5A, the metal detector went off and then the hand wand. D never brings a key and I am not allowed one when I fly, the device is always locked on. I was pulled aside for what was an interigation. D had to explain what it was to one of the officers and by the time we were through we had missed our flight. They never asked to prove it, but did ask if I could remove it for rescanning. We clearly couldn't. We learnt our lesson and we now use the Evotion Wearables Bijou. Sail through every time.
