My KH and I want to pick up chastity again and discussed a 90 days period. The idea is to minimize unlocking regarding time goes by.

Waxing seems like an option, but I did it in the past, and I am not quite sure if it is OK to get right back into chastity. I thought that it resulted in ingrown hares.

Shaving is an option, but that requires more unlocking.

Just trimming seems like a plan too. Would a bit of hair be uncomfortable with the ring or shouldn't that be a problem?

    Any thoughts?

Shave currently, but wonder about waxing. I think it would be smoother longer, but for me, embarrassing to have it done. Of course, now it isn't quite allowed yet. Another option suggested here is to use an epilator. good luck.

I said shaving but I use one of those electric razors, seems to give me less skin irritation.

Not one of the options noted, but an epilator works great. Painful the first few times but not so much if you stay on top of it. I applied some tattoo numbing cream the first time to avoid this. Unlike shaving, hair doesn't grow back with the thick stubble.

My two cents here. My GF/KH likes me smooth from the neck down, which I also enjoy very much. Fully agreed, after trying shaving and waxing for several years, I conclude epilation works great and have been doing it for the last two years. Lasts for me nearly 20 days, then an hour for full body maintenance. Much longer results and less irritation than shaving and without the embarrassment of waxing. You have to be very careful with scrotum, stretch the skin and do it in wet. Very few ingrown hairs, which may be avoided if scrubbing the area with a towel.

I did regular shaving and home IPL treatments for a while, and I still do some maintenance treatments. IPL worked better on my thighs and buttocks and not quite as well on my pubes. What hair remains I get with the epilator.

Not too much... It definitely works best with lighter skin and darker hair. Tattoos and even moles can cause trouble (pain) if you are not careful. I have the Braun Silk-Expert 5 IPL, and it's a relatively powerful unit with some safety features that are nice (e.g., power adjustment based on skin pigment).

As I said earlier, it worked better on my upper thighs and butt, which are now relatively hairless. The little bit of hair that grows there now is lighter, thinner, less dense, etc. Around my groin I probably have less hair than before, but it's still quite a bit. But I've noticed a lot of my hair in that area starts to grow with a lighter, blonder shade -- and even some that are grey now -- and IPL isn't really effective for lighter colored hair.

Magic Shaving Powder here except most sensitive areas where I use Nair Bikini cream. Leave both on longer than the recommended 10 min. Find hair comes back thinner as time goes on. KH loves that cage does not need to be removed.

Don’t want to seem the odd one out but I find the hair down there much more comfortable! Never get any rubbing or other issues around the ring and also keeps from sticking when sweaty.
But from a looks point of view, trimmed short above and no hair around base or sack I think looks best for me.

I've been told to use and have just started with an epilator on my pubic area. Hurt like hell and I cried, hopefully it gets easier going forward. My lady wants her property left hairy everything else smooth.

I use to shave down there until ingrown hairs became a cage stopper. Until I could get the hair out and the skin to heal, the cage had to be kept off. My wife suggested waxing, but stopped after a few times because it hurt like hell. She then suggested Nair and once I got use to the formula and stopped getting the rash as my body adjusted, its been great. In fact, the hair does not grow as fast or as thick and in the past, might be an age things too.

I find this to be the best solution, in fact use it more on the rest of my body as well. When you start out, you get spotty results. Constant application every couple of weeks works great. In fact, during my 100 day lockup we were able to apply and remove the hair without taking the cage off. So when I mean a 100 day lockup, I mean 100 days from the time it went on to the time it came off. Thanks Nair.

IPL doesn’t work well for men. Find someone that does laser and look for Alexandrite or similar. Home IPL aren’t cheap and are super slow and did nothing for me. Real laser is the way to go. Try Groupon.com for a deal.
